We got this light to warm a dog house for our outside dogs. It gives off great heat and has a long life compared to other bulbs we’ve used

I’m a Yorkie in home breeder, I received this bulb yesterday, pretty quick shipping. I got it set up in my nursery box to see what Temperature it would reach & if it stays at the 80° I need for my new born pups. Plugged it in at 1pm. It warmed to 80° and stayed there for the next seven hours. Exactly what I needed. Pups due in a few days and these pups will stay warm in this cold weather as needed. Oh I also have a large heating pad on warm under the top towels.

I bought this to go in a bedside fixture to help me sleep and to help my arthritis. I wear a brimmed cap to shield my eyes during use. I use it about 20 minutes a day, right before I go to sleep. I also use it as a night light if I need to get up to use the restroom (instead of a regular light). I am usually able to get right back to sleep now after a bathroom trip at night. It does seem that I am sleeping better and having longer nights of good sleep. I have not really noticed a change in my arthritis. The bulb does not seem burning hot like other heat bulbs I have bought in the past, certainly hot enough that one does not want to touch the bulb when hot, but not so warm that I worry about nearby clothing or bedding getting too hot/smokey. Bulb arrived packaged well, and turned on as soon as I put it in my E26 lamp.

Ordered new got used. Has corrosion all over it and is dirty. Not slick

The lamp is too small. I have seen and used a much larger one. There no heat control. Maybe this type is not usually made with heat control. The amount of heat is good but could be better if the lamp were larger.

We needed a heat lamp for our chicken coop, but didn't want to worry about burning the coop down. We ordered the 50 Watt version of this bulb. It doesn't affect the sleep for the chickens, and their coop doesn't get too hot, so we don't have to worry about fires. Great product for that use!
