Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was happy to find a 100mg tablet, most are higher. I split them in half to take 3-4 times a day as Dr Mercola suggests, as being water soluble it passes through quickly. There's been some studies casting some suspicion on higher doses, and these small tablets let me keep it low, and even cheaper. I split two tabs each morning, and leave them on the counter to easily take throughout the day. Since taking this my energy has evened out, and my drowsy afternoons leading to naps have pretty much stopped, I'm so relieved. I hope the mitochondrial and brain benefits are true, but regardless I'm seeing real results and will continue!

Great for skin and hair and nails . Small pill easy to swallow

The body really only needs about 50mg of niacinamide per day, not more. It's a necessary nutrient, critical to numerous reactions in cellular respiration. Taking too much won't work, and it's not that easy to get in everyday foods. So the problem is what apparently the "market" considers to be a very low dose. "More is Better" seems to be the marketing rule. I found this 100mg tablet after a lot of looking, and the tablets are large enough to fit in a typical pill splitter you can buy at most stores. It's not a perfect solution, but the only 50mg version I've found was vastly over-priced. This works, at an affordable price.

I have noticed a big difference since taking this supplement. I have a MTHFR gene mutation and struggle with methylation that ends up making me very tired because my cells no longer have the voltage to work properly. Convenient size and quantity. Hard to tell if it actually does anything (like most vitamins or supplements) but this doesn't cause the niacin flush. Great price and I'd definitely buy this again.
