Owned 2 and HIGHLY suggest buying something else
TL;DRI have owned two (2) of these and I highly suggest looking elsewhere.Bad: Breaks EASY from normal wear and tear so audio quality doesn't matter for anything when one side is always falling off.Good: Good audio quality and open headset make it easy to hear outside noise and others in your room talking to you. Even easier when one side falls out constantlyI have bought 2 of these. I bought one at home and liked it so much I bought another one for my work. Unfortunately, the one at home gave out first after a little under a year later. These headsets break where the left side plastic is weaker because of the slot that the mic slides in. The weakness is a design issue augmented by the cheap material. I only use my work one once in a while when I need to make a skype call or listen to a video. The home one I would take on and off all evening as I am playing games and taking them on and off while doing different chores around my house while playing games.Since my main one was broken I swapped my work and home one out after a LOT of electrical tape to hold the left side together. The black electrical tape was strong enough and dark enough to work well. After swapping I took VERY good care in making sure I would not bust the arm of the only good pair. That excessive cautiousness bought me an additional 2 years.Looking back, why would I have to treat my headset with as much care as a Faberge egg? Not worth the money at all.

Best Headset I Ever Owned
I needed a new gaming headset for my pc, the last few Logitech branded ones I had previously didn't last very long. The price initially drew me in. So I thought what the hey, I'll give it a try. I was absolutely amazed. The open ear design blocks about 80 percent of the ambient noise in the room out but allows enough in to hear anything important like someone knocking on the door or having a conversation with someone. The mic is adjustable up, down and even moves in a out to extend it closer to your mouth. It even retracts into the headband to almost disappear completely. The earmuffs are thickly padded and very soft to allow hours upon hours of gameplay without pain or discomfort. They fit perfectly over my entire ear as not to mash or pinch my ear. At the end of the plug is an optional USB surround sound dongle which makes games and movies appear in surround sound. It easily removes to use the analog 1/8th inch plugs. The Mic is very clear and responsive. Works very well with voice activation or manual push to talk functionality. The speakers are very responsive and loud. Plenty of bass and clarity is amazing. There is a volume control built right onto the cord along with a mic mute switch. They are overall lightweight and durable and have stood the test of time. I don't have a single negative comment to make about this headset. A fantastic product!

Great Headphones, great customer service!
Plantronics GameCon 777 surround Gaming Headset, arrived on time~were as shown in photo~& in what appears to be new condition. I word it like that, because the usual factory packing was not there....but the 2 headsets were in a sealed bag & triple wrapped in bubble-wrap. So I was a little apprehensive. I had nothing to worry about. At first glance I thought the mic was missing---but it just fits so nicely into the great looking sturdy, and most comfortable headband---it just about completely disappears! I like that feature allot.***The top head cushion works great-very comfy! The oh so generously sized, extremely soft feeling, plush circumaural 5.1 surround sound earpods are fantastic. I wore them for 6 to 8 hours right out of the packaging---absolutely no sweating, no ear or earring pinching, or discomfort from my glasses. (I am female, but guys were earrings too nowadays, lol). They are comfortably soft in skin to earpod contact comfort, cushioned without being mushy--for everyone in our family, so far, just right.Definately the nicest headphones for the price range we have ever purchased. They have a nice solid feel to them, not too heavy. They appear to be a well thought out, highly functional, attractive design.Extremely easy to use just plug-n-play. Nice braided cables with plenty of length. A handy clip is added to the cable. Can be used w/wo mike plugged in. Nice inline analog volume control. And a wonderful upgrade sound wise, comfort wise, convience wise, and in build and appearance to any headsets we have previously owned.Wow---I can't believe we got such a fantastic product for just under $40!!!!!! I guess you can tell that we are 100% happy and pleased with our purchase. Works wonderfully for gaming, movies, vids and music alike.I have one suggestion for new users, just go Plantronics GameCom site online, get your free driver up date for your headset--it is very easy to do---just takes seconds. Even for someone as tech compromised as myself. :-)Happy Hunting Gamers.
