Thumbs up
Showed up on time without incident. Very sharp out of the box. Comfortable in the hand before, during and after deployment. One issue during removal from clipped inside the pocket.. the thumb pin used to deploy the blade catches on the clothing and prematurely deploys the blade causing a risk of mishandling (fumbling the football) and cutting yourself. I recommend a covered sheath. Other than that this folder is tough, very functional and holds the edge very well. Great lifetime, serviceable warranty.

1 tough brute of a knife!
What a GREAT Benchmade! This one isn't like my other ones. It colored like a tank and built like one too. Super smooth, well designed and heavy duty. If you're looking for a lightweight knife, this one isn't for you. You want something heavy duty and ready for battle? This is the knife you should buy. Super sharp right out of the box, shaved hair off my arm in the test-

Very sharp and easy to open and close.
This knife is definitely one of the sharpest knives I've had out of the box. It has stayed sharp and you can open and close it with one hand super easy.

Tier1 Tough Work Knife
This is my favorite knife. It is capable of anything as a work knife, camping or edc. It is a heavier knife; for those of you who want a light knife it may not be for you. The price has also raised significantly since my purchase. I like this knife primarily because I think benchmade hit the mark with a balance bw a tough knife and not too much blade that it is annoying to edc.

Adequate but Nothing Special
Not overly impressed. With the blade extended and locked, when I hold the flat of the blade parallel to the ground, I'm able to create a very slight amount of vertical wiggle with the flat of the blade held between my thumb and forefinger. This wiggle is not in the metal of the blade, it is between the blade and the rivet/bearing that joins the blade to the knife handle. When I try this with my Off Grid Black Mamba v2, the blade is rock solid, i.e., the blade is absolutely rigid and immoveable. It's a nice knife, comfortable in the hand, but nothing special. IMO it's overpriced for what it is.

Benchmade is not playing games with the Turret.
Single best knife I’ve owned. Very stout but not super heavy in the pocket. Easy to EDC. Very ergonomic in the hand and beautifully balanced. The axis lock allows for quick release with a little practice. The kicker, though, is Benchmade’s lifetime sharpening and warranty.
