A crystal collector’s must-have
This is the standard for evaluating stones and crystals in one’s collection. I’ve even learned about other stones I’d thought I knew but this set of books clarifies it. It’s a must-have for any crystal enthusiast.

I knew I was going to want all three
My son and I are in to rocks and crystals, as well as my niece. These will be fun to use to flip through and find crystals to our liking. The pictures are great. I do wish the books were bigger so that each picture could be seen better for my old eyes. I also appreciate when (rarely) the pictures show both unfinished and finished (polished) crystals. I would love if they would do this for every single crystal- It makes it easier to know what a crystal might look like in either form, as they do often look very different in a natural state. I would also like if they included a tip or two about how to properly identify each crystal. It gives properties about color or may mention softness, but doesn’t really give detailed distinguishing information. It does give a great overview and helps you know what healing properties a crystal may have. One thing unanswered (or perhaps it is but I haven’t found it yet) is if the properties of a crystal are diminished if polished versus just leaving natural. The pictures are gorgeous! I wish there were even more of them, but there are a lot. I have only skimmed through the books today, but should get lots of future use out of them!

Great trio of books!
I’m really happy with this purchase. I just started to get back into collecting crystals. There was no Amazon, or internet for that matter 😝), so it was really special when my family took weekend road trips & my father & I would find specialty shops & he’d let me get a crystal. I now have a million “regular” rocks of all shapes and sizes that I’ve collected. I usually try to pick up just one, from nature walks, or the beach, but sometimes end up with a pocketful. I didn’t realize how many amazing crystals there are. After reading the first Crystal Bible, pretty much cover to cover, I’ve been hooked. I love how the information on each crystal is laid out. The only problem I found was the color photos of the crystals. The covers of the books are so bright and vibrant, but it seems like the color is just a little off inside. It’s n not an issue that I would take away any stars for, it makes me learn more because I have to dig a little deeper...no pun intended :). These books are extremely helpful & much to my boyfriends dismay, it helps me research and plan which crystals I’ll need next! I’m posting 3 pics & I was hoping that someone could help me identify what the two green crystals are. I thought one was aventurine or amazonite but they just don’t seem to fit. The one with the lines conus be agate? The other one is pretty translucent in some areas. Thanks for the help! ~Lindsay

Informative
I find these books to be very useful. Of course, nowadays you can search the web and find what you're looking for. It's nice to have a hard copy to read over and over again.

This is most complete series on crystals I have seen.
Start with the first book in the series. It is great basic information, introduction, background and formation of crystals. It has most of the crystals we are most familiar with in our collections. The pictures are very good compared to other Gemstone and Crystal books I have. Charts are well laid out and easy to find references. My only complaint is print is so small, my old eyes were tired after a few hours and i had to use magnifying readers. There were only two crystals I have in my collection that were not in these books. Well worth investing in this whole series if you can.

Great set
First - you save money by buying he bundle- and since I function on meager resources, saving is always a plus. If you think you'd like the first book, go on and get the set, because you'll be back for the other two anyway. Second- it has a really broad span of stones, minerals, and crystals from the old tried and true favorites to the more modern discovered natural and even some of the manufactured stones. Third- color photos and a lot of the stones are shown in tumbled/polished and unpolished forms making identification much easier. In many, there are also photos of many color variations. As someone who leans towards the "witchy vibes", the breadth of stones covered is a valuable resource. As someone who also comes from a family of rock hounds and geologists- it is a wonderful resource and a quick and easy reference. Even if I didn't lean towards the weirder side of rocks I would still find this set of interest. The reason I took away a star for an otherwise stellar set is that it gives a brief list of the spiritual associations and uses, which is good, but, if you flip through them, most of the metaphysical properties are very broad, all sound virtually identical, and don't really go into depth on the specifics of each stone that makes each stone's properties so different from others. If you're into crystals and stones for any sort of mystic use this is a great place to start for identification and a very base, generalized list of "properties" - but you're going to have to cross reference other sources to get to the real meat and potatoes of each stone's specific properties and uses. I think this set is the strongest "generalized starter reference" out there as far as identification and broad traits- but, if you're serious about the metaphysical lore, be prepared to dig deeper, as this is just too brief and generalized

Absolutely brilliant. When i received them I thought gosh they dont look big books but my word the amount of information in them regarding so many different crystals is amazing. There are rare crystals too. These books explains about types of shapes and uses and I think these books are brilliant. Information about crystal grids isnt the best, there's not much about them but there is some information but I couldn't recommend these books enough.
