Works well on my 331 stroker
Good replacement for the pump on my 1970 Mustang. It was thinner than the one I was replacing (same height, just not as bulky/thick) so I checked the flow rate on it and it moves plenty of gas. Installed and I'm not noticing any difference on the performance of my 331 stroker.

Great pump
At first I thought it would have to be returned since it's overall design was quite different from the one it was replacing. However, I thought I would try it; and to my surprise it was exactly what was needed to get my vehicle back on the road.

Delivers the Correct Pressure
Worked as expected producing the needed 5 lbs pressure.

Complete Garbage
Installed no problem. Worked fine for the first two weeks, then completely mechanically failed. Lever came unattached to the diaphragm and no longer pumps fuel. Of course it's on my classic ford I dont drive often so I'm past the point of being able to return it. Total loss of time and money. Do NOT buy.

whimpy - whimpy - whimpy
I purchased this for a 1966 Mustang (289 Small Block). Although the footprint looked correct, it is likely that it would have bolted on and probably worked, I questioned the performance that this one might have. First off, and my primary concern is that this pump was all around, about half the physical size and weight of the one it was replacing. Even the pump lever was of a thinner gauge metal and of a thinner profile. One might suggest that modern materials and construction methods might make the smaller size possible, but I believe that the diaphragm size would play a huge role in the pump's capacity and fuel delivery volume per stroke. Secondly, the thickness of the housing casting, including the ears with the mounting holes, were about half as thick. Again, modern materials might make up for some of the necessary thickness or size, but I just couldn't go along with it. Because of these concerns, I did not install this pump so I can not verify it's performance or quality of operation. My rating is based solely on build and apparent quality. Who knows, maybe it functions just fine...

Good pump, but not really serviceable.
I noticed that even the new brand name replacement pumps like this are becoming un serviceable. It works as it should, but if it breaks, you need to buy a new one as the originals have screw on inlet and outlet ports where this one is crimped on by a machine and to work on it you would need to bend the metal on the base back and that weakens the metal so you can only do it like once before you have a non sealing pump. I would call these cheap Chinese made replacements when you just need a new pump and don't have time or patience to repair the original (if there was an original on it).
