what is an s2 1? Its a USB 3 card reader - it'll work USB 2 at a slower speed - but it does need to be connected to a computer USB port - albeit the machine can be running either MacOs or Windows

It should do if the tablet has a USB 3.0 port, mine works in most devices with a normal USB port or USB Type C port
