Nice table grill with sufficient power
Nice table grill with sufficient power. The stone plate is very heavy. Only small downside, the stone has discolored slightly after first usage.

Not hot enough but good quality
This product does not get hot enough to get a nice hard sear or grill marks on food. However ill give it 4 stars because each separate piece of this item I use for other things. The quality is good enough. Also I knew the voltage before purchasing so it was my mistake. I now use the marble stone as a cheese board and use the interchangeable grill plate/griddle on my stove and it actually does work that way. As for the heating element/base... it has now become another item in my attic that collects dust. Maybe someday I will be able to use it for something. However at the moment it remains another item in my ugly, yet ever growing, unused impulse buy collection piled high in the attic.

Great raclette oven for a larger dinner party
We needed a raclette oven and I am glad we ordered the Artesia for 10 trays. It was easy to set up, hot enough, stylish and cleaning was no different than what I have been used to for some 40 years of using raclette ovens in the US and in Europe. 30 years ago nobody in the US seemed to know what a raclette oven was and it took us a couple of years to find one. Having raclette is such a great community meal event and we often had to juggle with a 6 tray oven. This is where the Artesia delivers. The hot plate above the oven is good, we haven't tried the stone. Having color codes on the trays is a good idea. Apart from that I wish the trays and the scrapers were a little less flimsy.

For a unique meal experience
A friend had us over and we used his! It's a fun way of eating and conversing throughout the meal. We loved it so much, we bought our own! Good value, low smoke level, ease of use and very versatile!

Get the kids involved
We purchased this after going to a friend's birthday party. They mentioned that this was what we were doing and I was very unenthusiastic about it. I.e. - why the hell would I want to go to your house and cook my own meal? I just want to sit and eat. Well, I was very glad I tried it. The dinner was a lot more social with people being "more involved" with what was going on. I decided to purchase this ourselves in that it would get our 6, 8 and 10 year old more involved with preparing, cooking and eating their meals. I was right. They loved the aspect of it and even cooked and ate their own vegetables (your results will obviously vary with your own kids). Now, they want to keep doing it. It also helps me get more involved where I help with preparing the foods. Using my temp gun, on high it was around 400F.It was also pretty uniform throughout the metal plate which surprised me. Cleaning-wise, since it's a "non-stick", it cleaned very easily. I did not put it in the dishwasher. I put the dish holders in the dishwasher and they came out fine. However, next time, I will spray Pam or something on the metal plate before cooking so that it will clean even more easily. The Raclette comes with these plastic spatulas (not clearly shown in the pics) to help scrape the food off the non-stick dish holders. I did purchase wooden ones since I didn't know these plastic ones were already included. But I assume these plastic ones will eventually melt. Lastly, the power cord is too short. So you will need to add an extender. Overall, we are considering purchasing an additional one of the same exact size so that we have 2 for dinner parties.

trash manufacturing
The coating was scratched across the entire non-stick top.It should have been scrapped at the factory, but they chose to ship it. This is not scratched in shipment. The coating was touched and smudged by someone at the factory, then they cured it and foisted it into Amazon's supply chain of trash products.I'm not going to trust a 1500W heating element, controls, and wiring when the manufacturer is already cutting corners on the cooking surface that touches food. Who know what dangers are hidden inside? Not going to unpack any more of it. Getting returned as defective.
