Really fun kit! I bought this for my 12 year old and she loves it. She’s only had the kit 2 days and has completed 2 of the 3 activities. Hers came with a bouncy ball kit which she really enjoyed making. Directions were East to follow and I liked that they explained why/how on the reverse side of the card. She also made a virtual reality box that didn’t require as much attention, but fun nonetheless. She has more activities left, which we will save for another week. We would definitely recommend this subscription!

Terribly cheap materials. Just 3 simple little projects in a small box. Grossly overpriced. I would have sent it back but already delivered to and opened by the child.

I just placed and received my 2nd subscription to The Stem Projects. The 1st in 2018 was for 6 months, the 2nd in 2019 was for 3 months. The projects are amazing — fun and easy to implement, attention-grabbers for the kids, and loaded with “ah-ha’s” and learning points. If you’re looking for an affordable mechanism for having fun with your kids or grandkids and teaching them the mysteries of science and the joy of discovery at the same time, then look no further than The Stem Kits. I hasten to add that their customer service is of the same quality. My inquiry to the company about a duplicated order was responded to both swiftly and courteously. I highly recommend Stem — pretty impressive product and company.

Looks pretty exciting though we haven’t done the experiments yet. I love the clear instructions on the cards. Note that if your order is a subscription, it will arrive one box per month so be sure you provide an address that you will be at for a while.

The stem box came with 3 projects that were easy enough for my 7 year old to do. They provided easy to follow step by step instructions with pictures as well. We liked to concept of this however some of the materials we easily broken. The do it yourself VR goggles didn’t last very long as the adhesives tore the cardboard every time the lid was opened and closed.Overall my daughter liked it, the materials themselves were a bit lacking in quality though.

My boys really enjoyed figuring out how to create their own bouncy balls from scratch using STEM Discovery Boxes GLOW-IN-THE-DARK BOUNCY BALLS. They spent a few hours following instructions and creating their own unique bouncy balls. After they were done, they played for hours with the ball by going into a dark room and seeing if it will glow. They also played inside and outside and seeing how high it can bounce. They even saved some material to build with their friends so they can also have their own bouncy balls. We loved seeing them play and have fun with these balls! Thank you for a great physics and and chemistry activity!

I got this for my niece for Christmas and the kit should have contained 3 projects, bouncy balls, detecto bot and virtual reality glasses. The bouncy ball items totally missing, and parts for the detecto bot missing! She went from SUPER EXCITED TO SUPER CRUSHED in a matter of minutes.

I got this for my daughter and it was SO awesome. She was super excited about it and we had a blast doing the little exercises. This first box came with three activities. The directions were easy to follow and the activity came out super cool (it was making our own bouncy ball!) definitely a cool box especially for kids who have an interest in STEM. Love it!
