Land Rover Defender Adventskalender 2020

I bought this for my Defender-loving 11 year old and he absolutely loved it. It comes in the form of a series of varying sized boxes, each containing a part or accessory to build a little Defender model and scene. The boxes also have two pictures on them (opposite sides) so you build a picture over advent too.Everything you need is in the calendar, from a tiny screwdriver, to a small "tool" box to hold the screws that are used. All you need add is a AAA battery for the authentic Defender sound.A bonus is the accompanying book, which takes you through the history of this iconic vehicle.An ideal advent journey for any age of landy-mad person!

Got as a gift for my land rover mad brother. He enjoyed building it but found it was a bit slow going to make it last the advant period

My 11 year old Lanie fanatic loved this, so did I as it meant he actually had something to keep at the end of Christmas. Kept him busy and it was easily put together. Better than chocolate and silly little plastic things that get sucked up the Hoover!

The hubby really wanted this so although I thought it was a lot of money being the good wife I am I bought it for him. Turns out it's much better then I expected. Inside are boxes that together make up a nice land rover picture. Each box container part of a model to build. There is also a lovely book with a page to read each day about land rovers history.I'm actually really pleased with it and worth the price paid.

I sent so many video clips to my car enthusiast brother laughing and documenting the build.I enjoyed this unique advent calendar as I like defenders and I enjoy building models. All parts are working and it's now gathering dust on a shelf.Without ruining the build for others by spoiling what's inside some the the boxes, it is very drawn out. Realistically the model could be built in 5 parts and some of the other boxes were just full of, shall we say, enhancements for the rest of the display lol.I would only advise buying this for a novelty for someone who enjoys a small easy model build.

Good fun, gave hubby as a gift rather than advent calender .

I bought this advert for my husband who loves Land Rovers, so thought this would be a great project for him in the lead up to Christmas! How wrong can I be. Very disappointed with the items that was in each of the boxes and today (day 24) the plastic bags were empty so didn’t get the screw or the Adapter for mounting the model to the sound base. Over all I would not recommend this product to anyone. Definitely not worth the £54.19 that I spent on it. Most of the cardboard tat that came in the boxes has already gone in the bin. 😢
