No more hassling with hard to reach USB ports!
All around great, tons of USB ports, very easy to use, and visually solid. I highly recommend this to anyone who is worried about running about of USB ports on their set ups or needs it to be more organized and easy to configure

Good for my needs
The device appears to work well. I would have liked to mount it on the wall but it has no mounting hardware. This is not uncommon so it isn't that it's bad in any way. Many don't have a way to mount it. Some double sided tape will work but I would have liked some lugs with screw holes on the ends to accommodate the mount. The connecting wire (usb-a to usb-b) would be nice if it was just a bit longer but it just reaches the connection on the back of my computer so it will work as well, just a little tight. Overall it did increase my speed of transfer from the previous one I had which was quite a bit older so that is a good thing. The power supply is fine but could have used the wire-block-wire method instead of the plug in block. I had to shift around some items on my power management block to find a place to plug it in without blocking other outlets but I got it worked out. It is in a metal case so it should be very durable and hold up under pressure. I could recommend this device if you are in need of such a thing.

A strong hub for multiple equipment use.
My new lap top did not have enough available USB ports for all of my equipment. I also wanted a Hub that was more powerful than my older 3.0 hub. This hub is a 3.2, AC powered and runs everything that I have plugged into it. It is very compact so it takes up very little space on my computer desk. I especially like that each port of the hub can be turned on or off as needed. The seven ports are all standard USB with no "C" port; however an adapter is included in the package. I would buy this again.

Works great
I purchased this after another brand pooped out after only two years. I love that you can turn the various ports on and off when needed.

Awesome
I tested multiple โUSB 3.2โ hubs with three Basler USB3 machine-vision cameras, and this one is clearly better because of how it handles bandwidth and topology. All cameras stay on the USB 3 bus at full 5 Gbps with a shallow hub layout, instead of being buried behind multiple cascaded hubs that add latency and cause dropped frames. The upstream link actually negotiates at 10 Gbps, and under load it stays stable, which is what matters for real cameras, not marketing specs. I tried a more expensive โUSB 3.2โ hub before this and returned it because the internal hub layout was poorly designed. Even though it claimed the same speed on the box, it chained multiple hubs internally, which added latency and jitter and caused cameras to negotiate unpredictably or drop frames under load. On paper the specs looked fine, but in real use with multiple high-bandwidth cameras it was noticeably less stable.

Good USB hub but slow charging cell phone
I had another USB hub were the blue lights were too bright so sent back to Amazon for refund. Most of the USB hubs had complaints of the blue lights being too bright. It took a while to find this USB hub with no bad reviews for the lights being too bright and good reviews overall. The switch lights are dim when looking from an angle. When looking from above the lights are bright without being too bright. The lights would be easier to see if red. I have another USB hub with a dim red light on the switches but is easier to see from an angle and in a bright room. The blue light on the power supply is bright. It is on the floor away from me so thatโs OK. It is good quality aluminum housing. The on off buttons to turn on each port works well. The USB and power cable are good length and quality. Everything works good so far except when I tried to charge 2 android smart phones the charging current is too low. The description on Amazon says each USB fast charging port of the multi USB Hub can deliver up to 2.1A of current. I have a Samsung Galaxy A14 5G smart phone I bough about 7 months ago. I have a USB power meter to measure charging current and voltage. With the power supply plugged into the hub the USB power meter reads 5.04 volts on USB ports. I tried several USB ports to charge The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G phone with 31% battery charge left and the charging current is only .42 amps with phone turned on or off. Phone has fast charge turned on. Only one other ports is turned on for the wireless mouse. I also tried to charge an Android VIEW 3 Smartphone turned on and off and the charging current was only .42 amps also. I have a APC P12U2 surge protector that has 2 USB charging ports with max of 2.4 amps which says Smart Charging recognizes your devices and maximizes charging speed. When I connect the Samsung A14 5G smart phone into one of these ports the charging current is 1.18 amps and 5.13 volts on USB power meter. I charged an air duster on the USB hub and the USB power meter reads 2 amps charging current like it should so the power supply must be good. The charging current is just too low for my android smartphones. Maybe the charging current is higher on an iphone but donโt have one. These reviews on amazon say: This Hub is fast to charge my iPhone, it wonโt charge a phone, Great hub but not for fast charging cell phones. Their should be a chip in the USB hub that communicates with the phone to negotiate the appropriate charging current a process called "handshakingโ which i believe this hub doesn't have? I don't see a description on Amazon that specifically says it will smart charge a cell phone. Today on Amazon page for this model I noticed when you scroll down a little on the left side it says there is a newer model of this item. The description says smart charging 4 USB A Smart Charging ports only. Charging ports DO NOT support data transfer. I wanted 16 ports for data transfer so would not have bought this model but would fast charge a cell phone. If you want fast charging for cell phone the USB hub must say SMART CHARGING. Didnโt buy it to also charge my smartphone so not a deal breaker. I just have to charge my android smart phones on my APC surge protector USB ports to get higher charging current. I am happy with this USB hub otherwise.

Must have for those with multiple USB devices
I love this device. It remedies a problem of having enough length of cables and having cables run all over the place to one convenient location on your desktop.

Aesthetically design, quick data transfer & charging
First impression well built good quality alumimium casing. Each port can be switched on/off and when on it emits a blue light next to port in use. I find the blue light not too bright and not bothersome. Comes with 2 USB cables in which to connect to PC depending on the type of USB port you have on your PC. Currently 7 peripherals connected and all are working fine. Data transfer I find is fast being USB 3.2 hub. Also used to charge up Android smartphone which it did reasonable quick. Only minor issue I would have liked the weight of the hub to be heavier. Hub is quite light and when you have numerous peripherals plugged in the weight of the USB cables can cause the hub to move a little. Apart from this I find the design aesthetically pleasing on the eye. Price is a little heavy but it does the job thence 1 star knocked off to give 4 stars. Overall I would recommend this product.
