I've hooked up the rear camera as the instructions state. It will not come on when in reverse, only comes on when I choose rear camera. Help?tructed

Check if you have connected the pink rear camera+ cable on the ATOTO harness and the pink on the camera extension cable to be connected together. 2. do i need harness adapter for 2006 ford f-150

You don't want to cut off the vehicle wiring to add a different headset. YES get the proper harness that plugs into the factory wiring. Use proper soldering techniques to connect the adapter to the new headset working. Will save much hair pulling and keep the language and thoughts much cleaner.
