outstanding project box
I think I've bought like 16 of these at this point, I keep using them and buying more. The boxes are super sturdy, like you could JUMP on them and not damage them. Thick walled ABS, LONG stainless screws, beefy brass inserts for the screws, surrounded by thick plastic framing. It's all very high quality and yet at a low price. I always have to make some holes in them, and I use a side-cutters, flush cutter, and x-acto knife, as well as pre-drilling holes on the bench drill. The plastic machines well - I've never seen one crack, chip, or split, and I've seen those problems on a lot of other plastic boxes in the past. The plastic is strong but just soft enough to machine easily. The boxes come with a length of white spongy gasket that you have to stuff into the groove on the box, and then cut to length and stuff in the last end. It takes a little time, but it's not a big deal, and makes the box completely waterproof. I've had mine rained on many times without problems. Hot glue sticks well to it also, and I use that as part of my waterproofing of my connectors and displays. In my reviews I try to point out a weak point of the product, even if all I can find is something very minor, but these.... there really isn't *anything* I can think of that I'd change. They're simply perfect for what they do, which is pretty rare to see nowadays.

Solid enclosure
Fantastic enclosure! Used on a rugged off-road eBike for the bus bar. Very strong plastic.

Great Enclosure. Be careful when cutting.
This is a great box but the plastic will melt and rejoin when cutting with a scroll saw. Next time I will use cutting oil. Forstner bits work well for drilling. People complain about missing screws-not a big deal. The screws are M4 0.7 mm pitch, 22mm long, philips oval head. I labeled it with Brother P-Touch black print on transparent tape-looks great. I will buy more of these boxes.

Very good casing.
My only complaint about this casing was the placement of the small stubouts on the inside, which I assume must be for supporting it structurally. Other than that, these are very good casings.

Awesome project box for DIY electronics
TL;DR - I've bought 2 of these for homemade music equipment, both turned out great! I use the large boxes (200mm by 120mm by 75mm, black) for DIY electronics projects. Here are the my key takeaways. Good qualities: - The material is easy to drill holes in. - The thickness is perfect for mounting most components (switches, LEDs, potentiometers, power connectors, MIDI connectors, audio jacks, and more) - The nuts that are built into the case for the top are metal and don't wear out if you need to open it repeatedly - Box is very sturdy - The large box has enough space inside for most DIY electronics components, including commonly found PCB boards. (from photo, notice that the PCBs are standing upright and fit without issues) Bad qualities: - The internal standoffs aren't very useful, and get in the way. But they can be snapped off. - The lid is slightly curved, and the curve gets worse if you use the waterproofing seal. It would have been great if the case had 6 screws instead of 4 - The outer surfaces easily scratch (from fingernails or tools). Handle carefully! Recommendations: - I use DeWalt titanium drill bits and a conventional hand drill to make holes. - Use a small drill bit to make a guide hole first before making the larger hole. - After drill, the edges of the holes/cuts tend to be jagged, I recommend using washers or component mounts with a flange to cover the imperfections. (From the photo, notice the mounts for the LEDs). - The internal standoffs can easily be snapped off using large pliers. - Simple rubber friction feet work great for preventing it from moving around if sitting on a smooth surface - Unless you need water proofing, I do not recommend using the waterproof seal. It causes the lid to curve when screwed in. The lid is perfectly snug without it. I've purchased other boxes of different dimensions from the same supplier. The smaller boxes DO NOT exhibit the same curving issue with the lid. Even then, I still give the box 5 stars as the curve is not really noticeable at a distance, and does not effect its use if you are not putting other devices on top.

Great box for the price.
This box is solid and it works perfectly for what I use them for

Nice, inconspicuous, project box
I have my standing desk on casters and I like to move it around my office from time to time (to change things up). Because of this, I have extra cable coiled up under my desk and I wanted a way to keep it tidy. So I drilled holes in either side of this box so that i could pass in cables in one end, coiled them up, and pass them out the other (I used rubber grommets to pretty up the holes). This way I could adjust how much power and ethernet cable I pulled out for the current location and the rest was hidden away on the lower shelf blending in. I don't have a picture of it installed, but this fit the bill.

I nice well made sturdy project box.
Pinfox Waterproof Plastic Project Box. These are nice sturdy plastic project boxes that come with what looks like nice stainless steel screws, and a water tight seal to fit in the molded groove in the lid. The bottom also has 6 untapped screw posts which can be used to mount a circuit board or other things. The finish is a glossy black. The thickness of the box wall is about 2.4 mm but it seemed even thicker and was very sturdy. I used mine as a base for a 51" mast indoor UHF antenna, after installing the electronics I filled the box with small aquarium gravel for weight, it made a very stable base. These boxes come in various sizes too. I will be buying more in the future, and I definitely recommend these for projects or even storage of items.
