Seven Sparta 2 Pcs Jack Stand Pads Adapter Pinch welds Protectors (Cube, 2)

As a lifelong backyard mechanic, I have long relied on my thirty-year-old Sears jack stands. As vehicle designs have transitioned to pinch weld lifting points, my options for jack stand placement have become more restricted, as the dedicated pinch weld area could be damaged by the stands. This pad is exactly what I needed, though I was previously unaware of its existence. It fits securely in the stand despite the unique curvature of the top, where one side is higher than the other. I highly recommend this product.

The pieces felt slick when we bought them cleaning them off helped. It's a bit wide to use on some jacking points and I feel that could allow it to slip if you don't lower the car really slow. Just take care when using them. I still feel the little bit of material forgiveness helps to be more gentle on the car. Fits on the 3ton Pittsburg jack stands

These rubber pads are a perfect fit for the 3 ton and 6 ton jackstands from Harbor Freight. Amusingly, the rubber even smells like the other cheap Chinese stuff you can buy from HF. The way these pads are designed, it doesn't slide around or rock back and forth once you put in on the stand. It's a very good solid fit, and very secure. I have no worries about the rubber pad deforming, or sliding around, or doing anything to make the jackstand unstable. And of course, it protects your car from metal-on-metal contact and scratches to the frame. I've used this on the pinch welds to support my wife's SUV, and have worked great. And also on my Mercedes, which has a weird pad thing instead of a pinch weld, and there's enough of a flat surface that it has worked for that as well. An excellent low cost item.

These things are amazing. They fit perfectly on 3-ton jack stands this was used for a 2014 Prius. As the car only has two proper jack points aside from the pinch weld they saved the day!!!

I had a pair of old-style Craftsman jackstands that I bought when I had a full-frame truck, and while they fit great on frame rails, I wasn't too big using them for a pinch-weld. These bumpers fit great on the top of those stands - and I have used them multiple times on pinch welds - they work great - no worries that I will damage/dent/bend anything. They are affordable, and work - what else?

Depending on the size of your pinch welds, you may have to grind them down to get these adapters to contact the underbody and not just the pinch weld lip. These pinch weld adapters just snapped down on my jackstands and then used them to support a car. To me, this is a more secure method to support the car on a jackstand as it provides more contact area and traverses the pinch weld. I am glad I bought these and feel safer getting under the car.

I have returned this product today as it just didn't fit my stand, however they are a good dense rubber and would work well on the correct kit, albeit at a price Please note that the 'slot' that sits on your stand is 28.5mm wide. They have a 'little' give but my stands are 36mm wide so no chance.
