I do electronic mods for customers and have bought this same type switch for 20 years. The others have gone down in quality every year. THESE switches are back to what they used to be, YEARS ago. They are much higher quality and precisely machined. You will notice the difference right away. The pictures made it look great and I was worried they were just good graphics but they were better and I like them very much.... OH, no more melted pins at the touch of any iron...they can handle the heat of a short solder connection.

No issues using these for a project. I tested them all before storing the unused.

I haven't installed these switches yet, but I have tested all of them and they function perfectly. When I install them I will use will use a heat sink while soldering and anticipate no problems. I'll be soldering 22 gauge wire to the contacts. As long you use a non acid flux and pre tin the wire, it should only require a few seconds to complete the solder joint.

Small and seem to be of good quality.... for the cost they're great.

I got these as sometimes i just need to add a button on a box. They are simple to wire and come with included hardware for mounting on a plate. Simple choice. Get a box full and add them to the project drawers.

These are a bit higher in quality then the Radio Shack of yrs ago BUT still the contact is not good with any of these types of pushbutton switches (in my experience). The pushbutton has a shaft attached inside with a washer mounted to its end. When the button is pressed the washer inside makes contact with the two pin, shorting them. This contact is poor and causes multiple electronic on/off closures during each press. Would only be good for circuits that can tolerate that. I needed this button size for my project so I cut the original switch off the back of the button assembly, shrink tubed a mini tactile switch in place of the original contacts and it worked out fine.

I used these buttons to add thumb buttons to my GRS Tron Joystick. They work great for this. Very responsive with no bad buttons in the batch.

I used them to build a button box for sim racing and they seem to work great, little bit smaller than I expected but they still do the job, Evan came with enough for spares just in case one goes out on me.
