This absorbed very quickly and didn’t leave my skin tacky. It played very well with my other skincare and makeup. My makeup did not pill when I used this and it did give me a pretty glow. I have very sensitive skin and this didn’t irritate my face.

I use this day and night to put oil and moisture back into my face and before I gua sha. I let my mom try it and she asked me to get one for her too saying, “OH MY GOD IT TOOK THE WRINKLES OUT OF MY FOREHEAD!” I’m pretty sure it just filled the fine lines making them less defined, which lead to her revelation. Nonetheless, it made her happy, so thank you Milani 😊Being completely honest;My mom has dry skin, while I have oily skin. My skincare routine has 10 steps as I am worried about future wrinkles, hyperpigmentation/discoloration, acne scars, and healthy hydration.My mom on the other hand has a 2 step skincare routine and is worried about, fine/defined wrinkles, dry skin, and discoloration.She uses more drops (5) as her face is drier than mine and produces much less oil.I use 2-3 drops as my face already has some natural oils (which is healthy for you! Don’t harshly scrub them off because it’ll only produce more!) I use them after I have washed my face and misted it to add moisture after taking it out. I also use this before I gua sha or else it would be too hard to glide over my face.My mom did mention that it is a bit oily, she washes her hands after using it because the residual oil annoys her. I haven’t noticed that, I never have excess as I use fewer drops.Overall this product works on a variety of face types, old and young. My completion after 2 months of continuous use has improved... dramatically. Before I was using Milani 2 in 1 concealer because of my uneven pigmentation/blemishes. Now I can get away without wearing foundation as my skin has cleared up so much. Now, this could be in part to the skincare routine that I’ve been sticking too, but it is also in part to Milani’s Prep + Brighten Rose Face Oil.One more thing to note;I am asthmatic and sensitive to strong odors, but this one is pleasant. Not obnoxious, but also not faint. The product advertises roses, and you get roses, but not to the point of someone taking the bouquet and shoving your face nose deep into them like some fragrances out there....

The content itself is wonderful! I love the smell and lightness of the oil. It makes my face feel good and nicely moisturized. The only downfall is the container. While applying the oil of course your hands will get oily and slippery. I accidentally dropped the dropper on my vanity trying to get more oil. The dropper which is made of glass shattered. Other than that I would definitely use again and recommend this product.

The box arrived extremely dirty, something other reviewers have mentioned. Bottle looked unused and in good condition so I will be keeping it but I would not recommend ordering this off amazon-go through Milani's website or find it in store. Makeup packaging should not be this dirty-its not hygienic. My rating is based off the packaging alone.As for the product itself, I would give it 4 stars. Its light though still heavier than expected, and has a very strong rose scent, you could almost use this a perfume.

This is a very good oil, best for dry skin before makeup
