Some would say this bin is overkill and expensive for what it is, but we brought one and haven't regretted it. Regardless of some of the reviews, this is the genuine Tomme Tippee bin and fits together perfectly. Its easy to assemble and dissemble for cleaning. The cassettes again are easy to install and replace, the bin holds a surprising amount of nappies! The scent of the bags isn't overly strong but credit where its due, it releases no smell from the nappies. We empty the bin once a week, maybe twice if the little one is on form, and at no point have we had an issue. The only negative is the replacement cassettes, they aren't the cheapest but if you buy in bulk, you'll save some money. Its well worth buying and it's so good in fact, we brought another!

A great solution to the endless nappies a baby gets through. Better than a normal pedal bin and means don’t have to buy the scented nappy bags which don’t hide the smell too much. The refills can be expensive if not bought in bulk. They should also sell a bin bag to put Th e ‘sausage’ of nappies in as you still need to empty this bin into your normal waste bags

It does what it promises, no smell. Very easy to use. Only issue is that refills don't last 1 month each, this is nonsense. A 6 pack best case will last you 2 months and not 6 months.

this item was recommended to my by a friend, and yes, they were very right. my mother in law told me horror stories of bins smelling forever after using them for nappies so this was the first thing i bought for an incoming baby. i was finally able to start using it a few days ago. the instructions are not great. i followed them as best i could but wasn't sure if i was doing it correctly or how it would work. how much bag should you pull through? (answer: a little, it doesn't really matter, since during use the bag will get pulled out when you push the nappy into it). how do you know when it's full? (answer: it's hard to push the nappy into it). how does the tying an cutting and emptying work? (answer: that just have faith in the instructions - the first time i emptied it, it all became clear to me). it's also pretty small which is good. i thought from the pictures it would be as tall as a half of me, but it's pleasantly short. well done makers of this item, simple and effective.

One of the best baby products I have purchased. This click and twist keeps stinky nappies STENCH at bay. I highly recommend them. I know the refills seem quite expensive, but they are worth it trust me. This is my first baby and I would recommend gifting this to friends with babies also.

Haven’t used yet as bought for nursery but very quick to set up and install. Smaller than imagined but perfect size. Lots of replacement wheels for the bags, just will have to wait and see how quickly we get through them and then be able to say whether it’s expensive for the bag replacement wheels. Can’t say I’ve noticed a scent but then I haven’t been using the bags yet!

So disappointed. I have the older style Tommee Tippee nappy bin, I was shopping for new carriages and noticed this was on offer - cheaper to get this with six refills than to buy refills on their own! Perfect for having one downstairs as well as the nursery. This just isn’t as good as the old style bin, which can easily be operated with one hand. This new style needs two hands because the wheel to twist the bag is so stiff and clunky. I’ve also noticed that I can smell the old nappies when I lift the lid so the smell is getting out somewhere. The old bin has deep grooves either side, for lifting/currying the bin. This new one only has one very small groove at the back which is pretty useless when the bin is full. It’s too small even for my little hands to get a good grip. The only positive of this bin is the flat top compared to the dome lid on the older style which takes up more room when opened. Overall, I got what I really wanted which was the six replacement cartridges but the bin was just a useless add on.

Dudaba en si comprarla o no porque había leído tanto opiniones positivas como negativas, al estar de oferta decidí probarla y ¡menos mal! Funciona perfectamente y te evita el olor de los pañales. Vamos a ser claros... si tu bebé tiene menos de 6 meses y todavía toma solamente leche olvídate, no te hace falta porque los pañales todavía no huelen a caca (te lo aseguro, eso no es nada) y se pueden tirar a la basura normal perfectamente. Pero cuando empiezan con la alimentación complementaria la cosa se vuelve divertida y tener un pañal sucio en la basura normal de casa no es buena idea (nosotros los metiamos en bolsas de plástico del súper bien atadas y bajábamos la basura cada día estuviera llena o no). Con esta papelera se acabaron los olores! No está cerrada herméticamente pero en invierno no te enteras de olores y en verano se nota algo (repito... algo) al pasar muy cerca de la papelera. Te olvidas por completo de tener que bajar la basura si o si. Por supuesto la papelera no está en la habitación de mi bebé, no olvidemos lo que contiene… yo la tengo junto a la basura y sobra decir que cada vez que la vacío la limpio. No limpiarla es como pretender que el WC no huela simplemente tirando de la cadena sin limpiarlo nunca 🙊 Hay comentarios que dicen que los recambios son muy caros, es cierto pero, en nuestro caso, solamente tiramos los pañales que huelen mal (1 o 2 al día normalmente), los que llevan pipi es tontería tirarlos aquí porque no te va a oler la casa a pis por tirarlos a la basura normal. Podemos cortar la bolsa cuando queramos y tirar los pañales sin esperarnos a que se llene la papelera, basta con hacer un nuevo nudo en el extremo que hemos cortado y colocarlo en su sitio. De hecho recomiendo hacer esto porque al abrir la papelera si que huele, el olor se escapa aunque estén envueltos en plástico así que imagino que cuantos más días lleven ahí metidos será peor (la vacío 1 vez a la semana de normal esté llena o no y en verano cada 3 o 4 días) Nosotros ponemos en el cubo una bolsa de basura pequeña (de las de 10l, en las fotos podéis ver cómo queda) antes de cerrarlo, lo leí en una reseña y me encantó la idea. Cerramos la bolsa y nos la bajamos al contenedor directamente. Lo compré rebajado. Papelera + 6 recambios así que salió muy bien de precio y una vez probada puedo decir que merece la pena invertir en esto. * Si mi reseña te ha servido de ayuda, agradecería mucho que me dieras un voto "útil" *

Nous pensions que c’était un gadget mais nous sommes ravis d’avoir fait cet achat. La poubelle est à côté de la table à langer elle ne prend pas bcp de place et est très pratique. L’odeur des couches est réellement coupée. Après 6 mois nous devons racheter un pack de recharges. (Nous avons passé 2 mois sans l’utiliser donc prévoir peut être 4 mois pour un nourrisson). J’achète mes premières recharges alors que mon bébé a 6 mois et je compte utiliser cette poubelle pour les prochains !

Non mi ero mai interessato a questo ambito di prodotti, ma tra quelli proposti da Amazoni questo mi sembrava il più "smart" con un prezzo ancora ragionevole. Molto soddisfatto dell'acquisto: facile da montare ed il sistema di chiusura a giro (praticamente ogni sacchetto viene ruotato su se stesso e cosi si "sigilla") del sacchettino è davvero un'ottima idea, la puzza non si sente, i pannolini restano isolati tra loro e non si sporca nulla. Il risultato finale è una bella catena di palle di pannolini, tipo collana d'aglio o salami :D
