Red Heart Super Saver Yarn 312 Black

Love this yarn. My daughter uses it to crochet hats for cancer patients. It is very soft and easy to work with. It is very consistent and a good value for the money. The colors are vivid and look lovely, rich and vibrant as a hat.

Red Heart yarn is very nice yarn. I used this black color to make a nice wrap to wear with dress clothes to wear out and at meetings as my arms frequently gets chilly or cold. This yarn was perfect. I'm a beginner so I'm still learning, this yarn is great for beginners. I had no problems with knotting issues. The color is perfect! I've washed it several times and is not fading at all. The yarn is durable and the perfect thickness. I got good value for my money and recommend this yarn in any color.

I have grown up with this yarn, in my 80's now. Have always found it dependable, good color selection, good for most things you can knit and beyond. It's soft enough for blankets, durable enough for all types of knitting. I am currently making afghans for the family, started with just the grands, then their spouces and kids and more so I still have 5 left to do after 3 years. Some projects are now older but hold their shape like the new ones. Also use it with Christmas decorations, some simple fix its around the house. I seldom have spliced in yarn. A good quality for anyone from beginner to advanced, only thing holding you back using it is your ability and imagination

Made a gorgeous scarf with it last winter! It did the job perfectly. The color looks exactly like th photo and the it was easy to use. Red heart yarn is usually easy to unravel and doesn’t knot. It wasn’t the softest yarn but that was expected.

I absolutely love this yarn. I make rugs and it’s always true to the color description with good quality. It does not get frizzy when using and is durable. There have been occasional knots however not enough to be bothersome. It creates thick cushiony relief for your feet. I’ve also used it for other crafts and have been pleased with the results.

It has a rough feel to it, but it washed well and softened up. I was afraid I was putting all this time into an afghan project that was not going to be comfortable. But it’s fine. Not the finest quality, but it will do.

You can’t beat this yarn. It’s easy to work with and it has a nice texture. The price is great too! It’s versatile and works for many different patterns. There are minimal joining knots and the thickness of this yarn is perfect for cozy throws. I used six skeins to make a generous size throw (pictured). I’m a little lazy, so I appreciate the fact that with the Red Heart Stripes yarn, there is no need to change colors every few rows. You can just keep going and still have a colorful item when you are done. I have tried other brands, but always come back to Red Heart. You just can’t beat the quality and price.

I crotchet everyday and have for 15 years now. These rolls are perfect for someone even starting out. Price is worth it bc they're bigger rolls and it's a set of 2. It doesn't knot up easy like some others. The colors are really pretty in person. After you finish what your making the cotton is soft.

I'm an American and I live in Europe and the yarn just isn't the same. Red heart and others like it are not available here on the shelf. It's just different/better to me from what's available here.

I’m in love with the quality of this wool. It’s soft, comfortable and perfect for everything I want to crochet. Of course I had to start with a crochet tie. It’s super easy to work with I truly recommend it for beginners.
