I ordered this being I don’t have any local craft stores where I could find it locally. Had a leather case that needed all the stitching replaced and this did the job. The color was perfect and the thread thick enough with a wax coating. Only down side was making the knots, and you can’t melt the ends because of the wax. If you try it just caused the thread to fray.

Perfect for repairing pool floats that weren’t the blow up type of float.

Very strong waxed thread. I needed it to repair a canvas patio umbrella that got torn up in a storm. The repair feels sturdy. Also pulled it through heavy leather as a test - - this is the stuff you want.

The description does not clearly describe it as waxed nylon twine, commonly called artificial sinew. The twine is smooth and even, it is strong and stretches a little, which is in the nature of nylon and is useful for leather sewing. I would not call it heavy duty for leather projects, but more of a medium duty, which makes it practical for many leather projects, such as wallets and knife sheaths. Saddles and such would probably require heavier twine.

This is a very high-quality strong thick thread. We are using to thread marionettes, and its working perfect. Price is great. Highly recommend.

Works well for both tough and thick leather and also softer leathers such as deer hide. Have used only with a hand lacing overlap method on seams but think it should work well with other methods. I work mainly with tanned deer hide so need to be aware of over stretching the skin when lacing. I have used both an awl and a very small hole punch for the lace holes.

Thread is waxy and strong. For the use, with my cats, could be a little thicker.

Thread is poor quality
