We purchased the SafeRest Waterproof King Size Mattress Protector to use on our Leopard 40 Catamaran, and it has worked out perfectly. Our bed is an unusual size since it is larger than a queen but smaller than a king and this protector fits it very well. It’s also very easy to put on. You install it just like a fitted sheet, so it goes on quickly and stays securely in place around the mattress. One of the things we really appreciate is how comfortable it is. Unlike some waterproof protectors, it doesn’t make any crunchy or plastic-like noise when you move around. It’s soft and quiet, so it feels just like sleeping on a normal mattress cover. The waterproof feature works exactly as advertised. I accidentally spilled water on the bed, and the mattress underneath stayed completely dry. That alone gives us a lot of peace of mind, especially on a boat where protecting bedding is important. My wife went into labor a year and a half ago and that labor went very quickly....so quickly that she ended up giving birth on our bed in the presence of EMTs. I challenge anyone to put it through a more rigorous test and I'm positive it can stand up to some sweat or your child's pee in the middle of the night. Seems good so far! Fit over a 14” mattress and a tempur-pedic topper. Had a weird smell initially but I washed it twice and it was fine. Even putting it on I was skeptical about the sound, but once the sheets were on, it doesn’t sound weird at all.

We have bought this mattress cover over and over again. Not because the product failed us but because we like to keep a fresh bed and this is the perfect mattress cover. The water resistance has saved us countless times. This is one of the few mattress covers that doesn’t feel like you’re sleeping on top of a mattress cover. It has two layers to it, one is a plastic like layer and the top one is a towel like layer. It’s great because it protects your bed from any possible liquid spills but doesn’t produce that rustling plastic sound a lot of other water resistant covers do. We have never had a problem with it slipping off of our mattress and it’s easy to clean.
