I have a Orek Floor machine and will be using 12" mesh screens to screen my hardwood floor- Would this dust skirt attach to my machine?

What is the vacuum hose port size?

2 1/2 inch but if you have a smaller hose you can get a reducer for it at any hardware store

I'm using the floor buffer to sand oak flooring, is there a recommended vacuum size to provide enough volume to work effectively?

I have a 17" Rotary Sander & measures 5.5 " from floor to middle of bumper. Specs say 4" of travel. will this fit properly?

From the floor the very top of the skirt measures 5", however the top one inch is the velcro strip that lets it attach. You get a one sided adhesive/velcro strip that attaches to the machine, then the skirt grabs onto that. Does your sandpaper driver have too much height built into it ? Great idea

I used it, I was working on grinding concrete floor worked good at first, then it started falling apart, I guess it's only made to use on pretty flat surfaces.

Hook and loop tape isn't strong enough

Used to remove carpet adhesive, about 1200 square feet. That's about the life of the hook and loop adhesive tape. Needs a strap that tightens the shroud to the machine.
