Chill-Its 6485 Multi-Band

I'm a runner and I'm bald, so I need something for long runs out in the sun to keep from toasting my dome. I've never liked wearing baseball caps (or similarly designed running hats) and bandannas are almost always made of cotton, a very poor material for a workout. This product (I suppose I call it a multi-band?) works perfectly for me. I can put it right over my head and let it hang down behind me for head protection and a little bit of neck protection. I can also use some of the styles they demonstrate, like the pirate-hat looking one, if I feel like changing it up a bit. The material works great even for a long workout. During particularly long runs I can take it off and run it under a hose, wring it out, and put it right back on for some instant cooling. I can't comment on winter usage, or if it will keep me warm, but it works very well in the high heat of summer. I plan on buying at least one more of these so I have a backup. Great product.

I am a 24 year old guy with longer hair. These things are a life saver. I bought my first one from BUFF Head-wear. An all black one. Just because I didn't want to look like a complete tool wearing these ridiculous patterns to the gym or just out and about. Loved it. So when I needed a new one, I wanted to find a cheaper alternative seeing as i paid over 25 dollars for my first one. So I tried this Ergodyne Brand headband. And I have to say, quality-wise, they are right on par with the Buff Bands in my opinion. The only difference is the pattern and colors. Which are still my only wish, being that they come out with some solid patterns instead of skulls and flames and such. I rarely leave the house without one of these either on my head or in my pocket. I now own six of these. For biking, hiking, camping, working out, or cleaning and doing chores around the house, they are fantastic. They keep my hair out of my face, keep sweat out of my face, and my hair clean when im going more physical stuff outside i.e. rock climbing, chopping wood, using the chainsaw. For the price, they work just as well as the more expensive BUFF alternative. Recommended.

Easy to use and wear to keep you cool. Great product for those doing outdoor work, sports events, etc. Just add water, ring out, and put around your neck, place on your face, etc. to keep you cool. Machine wash and hang dry.

The price is competitive and the high vis color may save your life sometime but beware if you have a large head and/or thick neck as I do. Mine is a struggle to put on and if around the throat, it's tight enough to feel constrictive. Not sure this material will break in or stretch with use. Not sure I will ever end up using it because of the fit. Also the thing comes fastened to a thick, non-recyclable vinyl plastic board which is a waste of materials. The board weighs much more than the band itself.

I love playing tennis, but tend to get seriously burned, and with the scorching bright sunshine in Florida, it becomes painful to go out to the courts during the daytime. But this band was a "godsend", after looking for so mane choices, and spending so much money in goofy hats, and sunscreen Lotions. It is simply FANTASTIC for the hot weather of South Florida. The first day I wore it at the tennis court, I went ahead and order me a few more (I now also own a "flames" and "navy western" one) so I can also wear them while riding my motorcycle as well. It stays in place (even at wind speeds on the bike), feels very comfortable, covers me and protects me from the harmful bright sun, all that without that chocking feeling, and the best...it actually feels a bit cooler. Please note I wear it as a face mask, so I do not know if it will hold in place as a bandana while riding, but my guess is, since is not uncomfortably tight, I will keep the speedometer at bay. Like another reviewer stated, I also wish they came in other colors, like plain black for instance.
