Spectrum Ground Flaxseed 24 Ounce

I use this in my bread making and also mixed into my porridge and meusli. Very healthy.

High quality ground flaxseed. Mixes well and even tastes ok. Doing 2 TBS per day most days it lasted nearly a year. I didn't refrigerate but may need to in the future.

Doesn’t bloat me like other brands and it’s a good price

It’s easy to incorporate into daily meals—I usually add it to smoothies, oatmeal, or mix it with other ingredients, and it blends in pretty well while adding a nice nutritional boost. On the downside, the grind could be a bit finer. It’s not overly coarse, but I’ve had other brands that are more finely ground and mix more smoothly into liquids. Depending on how you use it, you might notice a slightly grainy texture. Overall, it’s a high-quality organic flaxseed with good sourcing, and a great option for everyday use—just could benefit from a slightly finer grind.

PRO: This is a fabulous bag of ground flaxseed. I am enthusiastically delighted to continue having this on a daily basis. The quality is fantastic and fresh. If you've never had ground flaxseed, then expect a soft, earthy, walnut-like taste and texture from this brand. CON: I've purchased 2 of these bags and, both times, the "resealable" part that you press wound up ripping off the bag. This is a huge con for a product like this when it's meant to retain freshness over a long shelf-life.
