Fixed my Samsung microwave
Fixed my Samsung microwave right up. It made a funny sound like it was struggling to start then wouldnโt heat food. Took cap out to test and noticed the old one was leaking a clear oil. Swapped them and good to go saved $300 on new micro.

Capacitance value was lower than spec
The Capacitance is expected to be 910nF +/- 3% but it measured at 856nF (beyond the 3% tolerance). My microwave still works, but probably not at the optimum efficiency.

saved the expensive oven
Get an electrical knowledgeable friend. 3 parts can blow the fuse. Transformer, capacitor, & micro wave generator. Wear electrical gloves if you don't know electricity. Disconnect the transformer, did the fuse blow. Next, discharge the capacitor. Go thru the set-clock routine, disconnect the capacitor, press start, did it blow the fuse. If no to the first 2, it's the microwave.

Hv capacitor on a Samsung microwave
Worked great for my Samsung microwave. Has been working for 5 days straight and we used it alot so far.

Microwave Starts Working again...
This capacitor nicely fit in my LG 2.00CuFt microwave. As soon as I hooked the power and tested with heating a cup of water. My MW is functioning like it was in the past, before the fuse was blown off and capacitor gone bad. So far it is looking good, will post any changes after a week or so, with more usage of my MW with this capacitor...
