Does everything you could ask of it, I just wish it would have XLR or Jack main outs instead of RCA.

Don't upgrade if u already have the S2 MK2.
One of the wrong decisions taken in upgrading from an S2 Mk2 to this one this. The volume on this controller is way to less than compared to the mk2. It doesn't come with a power adapter. After using my previous adpater it didn't make any difference. I feel it's just a toy to be used by bedroom DJ's in their home atmosphere. Really dissatisfied and disappointed.

Best beginner DJ controller
This is a stripped down version of the S2 MK2 which in turn helped NI to bring the costs down keeping the beginners, who would obviously have lower budgets, in mind. The sound is low as every one claimed but that's not much of a deal breaker. The Fx banks have been removed but you can always Midi map them, cautiously! Overall, the S2 Mk3 is an excellent controller for beginners and intermediate DJs. You can go for it ! Traktor all the way !!.
