I don't know that I have Hardy Fig Plant. This is just a suggestion but not responsible for the consequences. Mostly I use herbal( liquid antibacterial soap 0.5 ml(small tea spoon)/ gallon, Vinegar 1 . spoon, 2 drops clove oil, 1/2 spoon Neem oil mix thoroughly for 15 min and spay before flowering and after, on my all fruits plants. Once a while , I use smoke summer time under neath the tree branches. Please check one small leaves branch good one and one effected one, and compare the result. This hobby is , like baby sitting, if you wanted have good harvest. Most important things, all the others plants and bushes , around yours fruits tree, just spray few drops of liquid soap and vinegar / gallon. That will keeps away while flies aan insects.

It gets big. Plant it in a big enough pot and it will grow anywhere you put it.

How big is the fruit?

A mature tree will put out many hundreds of fruit all diferent sizes some larger than others. In the stores we only see one size since they have been sorted.
