Hasbro C1940100 games, Trivial Pursuit question game - German version

It is in German! They should write that in the headline name when showing it on amazon.co.uk no point putting it right down the bottom in small print detail. I've returned but it was for a present I sent direct and I had to go take it back from them and order the English version from Waterstones - £8 cheaper there too!

When I opened it, all the questions were in German. No mention of this in the advert.

It’s in German! What on earth are they doing? Was a big disappointment to sit down and open the packet and find that out. Should be taken off the website. This is simple jack and Jill retail to get right. So stupid

The cards were in German so I sent the game back. I was advised that a refund had been made into my account but nothing has been received and I dont know who to contact to sort it out.

Everyone seems to be getting a German version? But this was not our experience. As strangers to these shores we were hoping for a UK version to help us learn a thing or two about our adoptive homeland, but the question set of this edition is obscenely American. One might expect a question or two about America but nearly every question here is clearly written from an American standpoint. It even uses American spellings. Very disappointing.

This version of Trivia Pursuit is in GERMAN Didn’t realise until Christmas Day! Very disappointed should be clearer on the description On the upside we are now fluent in German!

This is appearing on the UK amazon website when it’s the German version - the box doesn’t suggest it’s the German version unless you look on the bottom or once you have opened it and look at the board/questions/instructions. Ruined our NYE games

I ordered.this from UK...this was a German version of Trivial Pursuit...I bought the brand not a version of translation....useless to me and a waste of money

Ich spiele Trivial Pursuit seit Jahren immer wieder – mal zu zweit im Duell, mal in größeren Gruppen mit sechs oder mehr Leuten. Gerade die klassische Ausgabe bietet dabei genau das, was man von einem Traditionsspiel erwartet: eine gute Mischung aus Anspruch, Nostalgie und echtem Quizcharakter, ohne Schnickschnack. --- Fragenqualität & Spielmechanik --- Die Fragen sind thematisch gut sortiert (Geschichte, Wissenschaft, Unterhaltung etc.) und decken ein breites Spektrum ab. Manche Kategorien fordern echtes Fachwissen, andere lassen auch Gelegenheitsraten zu. Klar: Manche Fragen sind spürbar älter und nicht mehr ganz auf der Höhe der Zeit – aber genau das gehört beim klassischen Trivial Pursuit irgendwie dazu. Wer ein komplett aktualisiertes Fragepaket sucht, greift eher zu einer Sonderedition. Der Spielablauf ist bekannt: Man würfelt, bewegt sich über das Spielfeld und sammelt farbige Wissenssteine. Das Grundprinzip ist einfach, aber durch die Auswahl und Platzierung der Fragen bleibt das Spiel fordernd und spannend – besonders bei Gleichstand gegen Ende. --- Material & Design --- Spielbrett und Komponenten (Spielfiguren, Fragekarten, Wissenssteine) sind solide verarbeitet. Keine Luxusausführung, aber robust genug für regelmäßige Nutzung. Die Kartenbox ist funktional, Karten lassen sich gut sortieren. Das Design ist bewusst klassisch gehalten – schlicht, aber übersichtlich. --- Fazit --- Trivial Pursuit bleibt in der klassischen Version ein starkes, fokussiertes Wissensspiel. Es verlangt mehr als nur Glück und belohnt echtes Allgemeinwissen – ob im 1:1 oder als Teamspiel in großer Runde. Wer Quizspiele mag, kommt an diesem Klassiker nicht vorbei.

Il gioco è perfetto in tutto tranne nel fatto che è in tedesco, nonostante non sia specificato. Ottimo per studenti di lingue

Está en alemán, cosa que han puesto al final del título, el cual está entero en español y que aparece recortado con puntos suspensivos en la aplicación de Amazon de manera que la única parte que no se ve es "Versión Alemana". Menudos genios unos y otros, bravo.
