Nice trainer but does not include front stability block
Nice unit so far have only used a week since purchase. Instructions in many areas are TERRIBLE, but figured out the axle exchange by reviewing video on youtube and the horrible magnetic wheel adjustment with flashlight and finding hole in metal support. Sad how bad the instructions are. Otherwise a nice quality and optioned unit

TRAINER
THE ONLY COMPLIANT IS THE GEAR SHIFTER, IT IS PLASTIC, IT BROKE AFTER 2 YEARS, I BOUGHT METAL SHAMINO GEAR SHIFTER, MODIFIED IT TO FIT...BACK TO CYCLING IN FRONT OF TV

Good but noisy
My wife uses this almost every day and really likes it. I don't like it because it is so noisy, I mean really noisy. The tires on my wife's bike have a very slight tread to them so I bought a completely slick tire in hopes that it it would quiet it down a bit but unfortunately no. I've also played around with varying amounts of pressure between the roller and the tire and various tire pressures from 80lbs up to 120. This would be best in a basement or somewhere on concrete. If noise is a concern of yours then I would suggest saving up for a decent fluid trainer and skip the magnetic ones.

Works well - thighs are now like tugboats
I did a little research online and read that this is a decent budget trainer. That's my conclusion too. Seems to me it's one of the cheapest to feature a resistance control - really useful as you can mimic real-life riding with hills etc. The equipment seems good quality and was very simple to set up. It comes with an axle spindle which might be useful for you guys with modern bikes with quick release wheels. It confused me, at first, as it doesn't fit on my old 80s bike - instead the clamps just squeeze against the wheel nuts. The unit is not silent - as loud as an electric juicer when you get it up to speed (so only 4 stars) . I watch TV while pedaling and have to use headphones. You'll need a simple stand for the front wheel (about $10) in order to keep the bike level.

Live in the northwest
This has worked well for me. Was easy to s. etup and use it all the time. Great for the rainy weather in Washington

Great trainer but go with the remoteless version
I bought this after reading the positive reviews for the version that doesn't come with the resistance remote. I wish I would have saved the money and bought that one instead. I find the remote pretty useless as I can just change the gears on my bike to change resistance. Other than that it's great. It is loud but I use it in my garage so that doesn't matter to me anyway. If you want to go quiet you'll have to spend a hell of a lot more. The only other downside is it does NOT fit 29" tires like the instructions say. As a matter of fact, the instructions seem to be for a slightly different product altogether. Regardless, I have a back up 26" mountain bike I use on it.

Great product for the price
Had this product for a year probably used it 10 times last winter. The remote to adjust reistance is nice to have but I don't utilize it a lot. Pretty easy set up / assemble. Had to utilize an online video for bike set up though. It's louder than I expected but nothing headphones doesn't cover up or have to turn up the TV pretty loud. Small and compact to pack up. Makes getting on to your bike a little more difficult since it sits up a couple inches higher. Would recommend getting a front tire stand as well to accompany this trainer.

Instructions
Instructions leave something to be desired. Had to go to YouTube to get more help. But once together, it works well.
