Excellent wire stripper. The quality is outstanding, and it feels durable right out of the box. It strips wires quickly, cleanly, and accurately without damaging the conductor. ANYONE who strips wiring needs one of these. WORKS GREAT and saves a lot of frustration when stripping away sheath covers on audio cables.

I’ve had a similar cable stripper before. This one I don’t like due to not being able to turn the head easily. This one is spring loaded and you had to pull then turn 90 degrees and make sure you push back down (hard) to lock in place. I don’t see this lasting long. Not worth the price.

If i could go lower then 1 star i would i used to help strip a ton of battery connections of 4/0wire. Blade is big enough to get through jacket but the spring is weak and dosent apply enough force to force the blade through the rubbery jacket. just spins and dosent cut in

Bought 2 they worked great for a while but on one of them ended up breaking, but I it was due to using it on a strong cable. Other than that they are great. Could use a spare blade to come on the side.

I’ve used a few different cable slitters in the past several years and I found them to be a pain to deal with and so expensive, I think the first one I purchased was over $250 and the replacement blades were like $60. I work with fiber Optic cable and having to deal with some pretty gnarly cables, some double armored. What’s great about this cable slitter is it has handles on both sides, I never understood why a lot of them only have a grip on one side it made it hard to cut into the cable and keep it at the right angle as you slit it. I also had issues with blades breaking to easy and even had issues with pieces just vibrating off while just sitting in a tool bag. I like the way this one is designed, simple not a lot of little parts to lose, blade adjustment is so easy just turn the adjustment wheel, no tools needed to adjust blade depth. Blades hold up well plus comes with spares which are also easy to replace and of course there are grip on both ends. If you strip a lot cable like I do, I highly recommend this tool. I have nothing to say negative about this stripper so far.

Strong and good quality

For the price point this tool works great, just tested on 1999 dual steel strength member and worked flawlessly. I would highly recommend this tool for any fiber tech.
