I had quite a lot of health issues and I was constantly tired, fatigued, feeling cold and under the weather. This was also due to old injuries, stress and anemia. I had tried iron supplements which messed with my digestion big time and also the lucky iron fish but it just did not quite do the trick. I already make an effort to eat a clean (no processed food, sugar, alcohol) and nutritious diet with meats and organ meats so I was getting very frustrated. After having tried many things, I decided to give Ancestral Supplements a go and started with the Liver pills. When I first got them, the smell was so fragrant to me and my body was obviously craving it. I started with 2 and slowly worked my way up to the full dose. I did get a little bit of detox symptoms but that was because I should have gone slowly but at the same time, I saw results immediately in energy and I started to looked and feel a little better. Brian, the owner of the company was great and gave me so many suggestions, including combining it with the Spleen. He was right, I made great progress within a week. I then decided that I needed support in many areas and he made some more great suggestions so I have been trying out a new routine. I have set the liver and spleen to the side in a rotation now that the anemia is under control and am using Organs, Bone Marrow and Collagen slowly working up to the full dose. This was over a period of a few weeks, introducing one at a time and noticing the effects and difference of each. Everything has been pretty amazing and I will be rotating many others as I know I need help with thyroid and digestional issues etc. What worked for me was experimenting and getting in touch with my body, noticing how the difference with doses, time when I take them and whether I take them on an empty stomach or on my food etc. The Bone Marrow was amazing… I was having so much issues with my teeth and gums, it was very stressful but this combined with the Collagen, things have improved dramatically. I’m currently on a balanced diet, green, with lots of bone broth and whole grains while on these supplements. I have gradually done away with a lot of the other stuff I was taking but sometimes I will take a multivitamin or Vit C with the organs or collagen. I just didn’t need all the other stuff and I felt much less hungry as my body felt nourished. It was a terrible vicious cycle before, I ate a lot because my body craved nourishment, had bad digestion and absorption and in times of stress relied on sugar so when I tried a healthy routine, I just felt so weak and cold all the time. The supplements also made me feel well enough to change to a solid routine including an earlier bedtime and better sleep by using the blue light glasses and salt lamps. From Brian’s website I did a lot more reading and the grounding sheet made a huge difference. In a few more weeks I now feel like a different person, it is pretty unbelievable. Stable positive mood, energy, clarity of mind, fast rate of healing from injury. It was unimaginable from my state before. It also allowed me to feel strong enough to get therapy for some deep seated issues that I had difficulty in dealing with and I am in the process of spring cleaning my home so I can overhaul my life. Everything is linked, mind, body and spirit and when my body was so weak, I was depressed and just could not handle much more than mere basic functions. I am taking Liver, Bone Marrow, Collagen, Kidney and Thymus. I have had many health issues that started during my pregnancy with my fourth child (24 years ago). I felt like my body completely changed and I have had one health issue after another. If I had a day where a felt good that was very usual for me. I just learned to accept feeling terrible and being sick all the time. In August I developed eczema on my hands, a candida/fungal infection on my chest and hives from head to toe. I was absolutely miserable and could not sleep due to the severe itching! I ended up at the doctor’s office and was given a steroid shot. Original Review: Great for skin health. This is LIVING collagen which makes a huge difference vs. others This is my fourth review on Ancestral. The owner Brian is very responsive if you have any questions. I've tried other trendy "dead" collagens with little to zero results and stopped using them, until this product was recommended to me by Brian because it is "living." I figured, "Why not?" Anyway, this LIVING collagen vastly improves the quality of my skin, often in less than 12 hours! I take it in the morning on an empty stomach with coffee and by the afternoon I can notice. Yes, this is very vain, and not what I bought it for, but so what? I bought it for my muscle, joint, and tendon health. I notice tiny improvements with muscle and tendon, but no improvements with the joints. For joints, I use the Bone Marrow, which defiantly works on my knees! Brian, keep up the good work! ************************************** Updated Review (4/3/2021): I had a terrible rotator cuff (RC) tendonitis and RC micro-tears in my left shoulder. The doctor said the micro-trauma from normal wear and tear could heal naturally. Some people do, and some people don't. It was not healing as fast as I thought it would, and there was no way in Hades that I would even consider drugs like cortisone or surgery. Zero surgery and 100% healing was my goal, but it simply wasn't happening. All the doctors could recommend that was natural was an anti-inflammatory diet and physical therapy (recommendations that were natural). They also recommended PRP but that is super-expensive and not covered by insurance. Then I came across Brian and told him about my stubborn RC issue. He actually recommended the AS Living Collagen. So, with the the Living Collagen and physical therapy over 2 years, here are my results: (Note: I even took the Living Collagen INCONSISTENTLY and it still worked. I wasn't even regimented on a 6-tab per day Rx for two years or anything like that. The dosage was inconsistent — I would shoot for 6-tabs per day depending on my budget and how the healing was going, some months on, and some months off — and it still worked. **This led me to infer that the results were cumulative**, unlike other supplements which mask the problem and stop working the minute you stop taking them.) 3 months: Not much difference in RC other than improvements in my skin texture, and possibly muscle and tendon (see initial review). 6 months: 85% healed with zero drugs or surgery. This is when I noticed stubborn RC improvements! 12 months: 90% healed with zero drugs or surgery. Hmm. 18 months: 95% healed with zero drugs or surgery. Wait a second — I'm almost at 100%! 24 months: 100% healed with zero drugs or surgery !!!!! When I say "100% healed" I mean 100% healed and 0% pain. 100% mobility. RC strength at 100%. Basically all the way back to how it was before the severe tendonitis. My journey would not have been the same without the heart-felt communication from Brian! I probably would have given up or been taking the wrong supplement.

We first heard about Ancestral Supplements through our functional medicine doctor. We then started reading articles on Ancestral’s website and learned about the “nose-to-tail” philosopy and “like supports like”. We were impressed with the company’s commitment to the highest quality and purity standards. After reading a lot of amazing Amazon reviews on different products, we decided we had to get started. For me, I’ve had to start with one capsule per day. Each week, I have typically been able to increase my dose by one capsule. The reason I have had to progress that slowly is because some of the AS supplements are quite energizing. I have been dealing with insomnia, so it was necessary for me to work up very slowly so as not to negatively affect my sleep. As long as I follow this incremental approach, the supplements don’t affect my sleep. In fact, over the last few months my sleep has been gradually improving! At first, I was concerned about how long it would take to work up to the number of capsules I wanted to take of each supplement, but persistence has definitely paid off, because now I’m taking quite a few capsules each day. I use a lot of ancestral supplements and love them. I have taken many collagen supplements over the years. I was hoping to love this one but I just wish it had a higher collagen count. I previously used a different brand that had 11g per serving and could noticeably feel a difference. I unfortunately don’t get the same results.

Well, this is my first product review on Amazon I ever wrote. I'm really impressed by these products and by the company as well. I'm taking AS "food" for 4 weeks already. I started slowly, with 1 capsule a day. Currently I'm on 3 capsules of all these: Brain, Collagen, Marrow, Liver, Organs and Tallow. My results so far: - I'm feeling more stable and calm and enjoying a very pleasant state of "well-being" (I suffer/ed from longterm stress and adrenal fatigue) - I'm in a better mood and smile more often - Liver and Organs are giving me so much energy, that I'm taking them at 1PM at the latest, otherwise I have problems with falling asleep - my sleep improved, I'm able to sleep longer, until 6:30 or 7AM, before I woke up regularly around 4 or 5AM and felt tired and exhausted all day long - my hair stopped to fall out and I'm seeing some new baby hair - two weeks ago I had very dry and rough lips and skin around my mouth, skin was flaking off and lips were swollen and painful, I coudn't almost open my mouth. It's condition called "cheilitis". I increased my intake of Liver and Organs on 8 capsules a day, I put only petroleum jelly on my lips and in 3 days my lips and skin around my mouth absolutely healed!!!
