I have a 4 stage and not sure which way the pads go from bottom to top

I have a 5 stage, but it's the same,.. ; On the very bottom tray it gets two filters, course (colored, or black filter) under a white fine filter. That's it! But I line every tray upperwards with a with white (fine) filter. I can ring out the course filter many times before I feel like it needs to be replaced, but the white ones I only ring out once before replacing when I clean my 35gal fish tank every 3 to 4 months. Use API BIO-CHEM ZORB SIZE 6 Aquarium Canister Filter Filtration pouch in place of the nitrogen emitting charcoal, your fish will be more healthy, happy, live longer and it'll keep the yellow tint out of your water and keep your tank crystal clear. Now sure but I assume might I used it for a different model then sunsun but was 302
