I purchased this item just before the 2022 MLB season started so that I could have what was on my laptop displayed on my television. I purchased this item, along with an HDMI cable (cheapest one I could find at Walmart), and it worked beautifully. My picture is great and there doesn't seem to be any delay from what my laptop shows versus what is displayed on my television. I'm not sure and can't remember if I had to change some audio output or video output settings on my laptop in order to make this work. I'm sorry. However, I can definitely say that if I had I would have simply run a Google search to figure it out. So, if you're on the fence, this is a definite yes from me.

I foiund it usable for extend usage of my smartphone and give opportunity to see game or video on big screen, exactly like to connect notebook or PC to regulat screen. So it makes possible to connect so light device , instead of using heavy and more bigger notebook , but gives almost the same functionality smartphone to regular screen, ecxactly like notbook is. Additionally I can sign firm coonection stayable to fail on floor that can happen in case of regular usage specialy by children. Generally I see it as very usable.

Bought this to connect my MAC to my Samsung monitor. Works great no issues at all. It’s small and doesn’t get in the way.

This product is fantastic, I can connect my devices faster to TV now. With the new technology USB3.1, the data stays strong with the the adapter, which is much faster and more efficient than my old USB 2 adapter.

I did like that the product work... but was only able to use on my phone and no usb for the computer

I received this device to review and it worked great first try. I plugged this into my wife's Chromebook to hook up to my secondary monitor with an HDMI cable. It's hard these days when most new devices won't come with older plug configurations so eventually you'll need to order these types of adapters or end up replacing all your older devices even if they still work.

It does not work properly with my MacBook air. I have to move it around to get it working. Had to purchase an Apple adapter. At the beginning, it worked OK but started giving issues after very little usage. Not reliable at all.

Plug-and-play right out of the envelope with no problems. The USB-C plug is a little tight, but that is often the case with USB-C plugs, I've found. Moreover, It thinks it's much better that the plug is a little hard to pull out as opposed to coming out too easily and when not expected/wanted.
