What are the dimensions of the holding tank, and what is the ideal pressure that it should be maintained at?

Tank pressure at 6 psi when empty seems about right. Higher than that gives a greater output pressure but less storage.

If the waste ratio with booster pump is 2:1, can i achieve that ratio with the pump with city water of 55psi? trying to get 2:1 with 55psi input. thx.

Honestly who cares. Rought your ro waste water line to rain barrel, garden or other use if you are concerned. Water still cheaper and better than bottled and honestly the unit with pump is cheat. I rough my wastewater to the mop sink where I can keep an eye on it. Not much waste with the system I have.
