This must be the component that was missing from the "leather" scent, except it somehow smells like cloves and cotton. I'm not sure what happened with the packaging, but some of the oil leaked out of the bottle, before the package reached me. It was so strange that this scent reminds me of money. I removed the bottle from the bubble wrap and the oil covered my hands, because it had soaked into the label. It is kind of cool that I can smell money everywhere for now.

There is a very very small hint of clove fragrance, and the majority of what you smell is cardboard-ish smelling. I am not sure how this will even begin to add fragrance to a candle, unless you are trying to make box scented candles.

The scent was really WEAK. I love clove oil and use it in my tart warmers. This product did not deliver a strong fragrant smell. It simply didn't have it. I was disappointed because of the cost and will not order again.
