I'm very pleased with this TV mount. It's well engineered and takes into account any problems you might encounter installing it. They've got you covered. The package includes extra parts for various scenarios and a template to help on the install. It's even designed so that if you make a small mistake installing it there are adjustments built in to correct minor mistakes. The directions are well written in easy to understand English. The first directions has you check to make sure that the mount is going to work for you so you're not wasting your time. I gave "easy to install" only 4 stars because the steps are very methodical and thus takes a bit of time. At least that is my experience. The end result is that my TV is hanging securely and safely. Finally, the price was quite reasonable, I highly recommend this mount and I'm very pleased.

This is a review of Mounting Dream TV Wall Mounts TV Bracket for Most 26-55 Inches TVs, Model MD2413-MX I purchased this mount for my Vizio M558-G1. The low price of this mount gave me some concerns but those were quickly dispelled once I opened the box and saw the mount. It is robustly built and solid. Parts were clearly labeled and instructions were adequate. I mounted mine into a stud and the lag bolts included really have this mount securely attached to the wall. The HDTV weighs about 35 pounds. The mount allows for easily leveling once your TV is mounted and also gives you a reasonable amount of down and up tilt. You get more down tilt than up tilt however so double check your mounting height to ensure you can get it positioned ideally for your desired viewing angle. I could not find anything comparable to this mount at the same quality level unless I were to spend at least $70-$80. This is a great value at the price I paid (under $30). If you have a floating speaker shelf below your TV, you need to think about where you will place the mount on the wall since the articulating arm will move your TV either to the right or left of center if you want your TV as close to the wall as possible. In other words, if you place the mount on the wall absolutely centered above your shelf, once the TV is attached, it will be shifted to the right or the left and no longer centered over the shelf because of the way the arm articulates. In that case to remain centered, your TV will be away from the wall about 12".

This thing is solid! Installation was fast and easy. The mount is strong and we like that we can angle and tilt the TV however we want. It looks great, the only thing that is a little annoying is that when the TV is pushed back all the way against the wall, it sits off center since our stud is off center. You can adjust it so that it is centered when the TV is pulled out a few inches though, and this probably wouldn't be an issue for most people. We actually used the bracket from our old stand to move the TV on the mount over a little so it is centered when pushed back. It's perfect!

This mount has very nice motion, flexible and heavy duty. I mounted it on a concrete wall and it took me longer to drill the holes than to install the mount. The mount came with hardware that included lag bolts for mounting to concrete, but didn't include concrete anchors, which is lame. I had saved the hardware from another similar mount that came with anchors, so I used those, but lame not to include them. Functionally, the mount is well designed and solidly made and does what it promises. Instructions are detailed and good, but you need to be comfortable with a drill, ratchet set, allen wrench and screwdriver to set this up. If you're reasonably handy it's very straightforward. My only beef with this mount is that the vertical tilt adjustment screws were barely strong enough to hold my TV upright (the mounting bracket is low on the back making it top-heavy). Luckily there are additional threaded holes on the vertical tilt section of the mount so you can screw in a bolt and lock out the tilt function. It wasn't on the instructions, but it was obvious there were a second set of holes with threads, so easy to use them and make it stable. Hope the manufacturer sees this and changes the instructions to call out these second set of bolt holes to make it easier for others. Also the primary bolts that are for the vertical tilt should be beefed up and/or re-engineered for greater stability.

Easy set up , works great with the tv I have

This was my third wall mount purchase from Mounting Dream. The first two installed without issue, and what I like about the wall mounts is how straightforward they are to install, and how they do exactly the job they say they'll do. They hold up my TVs without any issue and easily adjust to whatever position I feel like, and this helps with glare on the screen that can change depending on the time of day and the ambient light in my house. The mounts I got came with a 2-axis level and a hole template which made installation very easy. Some other mount brands have templates that don't line up to the actual holes on the mount, however this is easy to double check by just placing the template onto the mount and verifying the hole spacing before marking anything on the wall: exact match. All the mounts came with nice velcro strips for cord management, and the large mount I ordered (not this item) also came with an HDMI cable, which were nice extras. Overall, you get exactly what you expect out of these TV mounts and they're not expensive at all. There's really no reason to drop all that coin on other mounts when they don't offer any extra for that money. Maybe the only way they could improve these is if they had a molded plastic cover for the part of the mount that attaches to your wall...but I prefer the cheap price and the mount is behind the TV anyway. Adjusting the TV is super easy, in/out and swing left/right is as easy as lightly tugging on the TV and it moves. Up/down swing and leveling adjustment is very simple with the included Allen wrench, and that usually only has to be done before first use and can be left alone after. Just make sure you're attaching the mount directly to a stud or into a concrete wall so your TV will be secure. Never mount into just drywall for the safety of you, your family, and at the very least your TV. The real reason you should buy these mounts though, is the customer service. The most recent mount I ordered (this item) came with a faulty part. The plate that attaches to the back of the TV had a couple messed up holes that made it impossible to complete a secure installation. This could have been a problem, but when I emailed Mounting Dream directly, they answered me back in less than 12 hours even though it was the weekend. After explaining what happened, they offered to send me replacement parts free of charge and shipped them immediately the next business day. The entire time during shipping, they were in constant communication about the status of the package, well past what I think would be the minimum required. When I received the replacement parts, they were in perfect condition and completely solved my issue. I didn't have to send back the damaged parts or do anything beyond send them a picture along with my original issue, which was easy. Now my TV is up on my wall and I can game comfortably reclined with this sturdy mount holding my TV up. I highly recommend Mounting Dream TV mounts because they will jump to help you with any issues you have with your TV mount. You can even message them on Facebook for basic installation help.
