Fun + Family chaos
This is my seven-year-old’s absolute favorite game. It’s easy enough for kids to learn, but surprisingly competitive, so much so that we had Grandma fully fighting a seven-year-old for a spoon! Lots of laughs, quick rounds, and an all-around good time for everyone. Perfect family game night choice!

Much needed family game

Really Fun but Un-Needed
It's hard to rate this item. The people that sell this "game" didn't come up with the idea, they just packaged a home-made game that has been around for decades. We played this as a drinking game in college 15 years ago with kitchen spoons and deck a cards. That's literally all you're getting with this game: some large plastic spoons, a deck of cards and an instruction pamphlet. Now we play it without kids and they love it. I guess the fact that we got the "game" made us play it....so for that point alone, I gave it 4 stars instead of 3. The game itself is great. Ages 6 and up can easily understand and play it and with 4-6 people, it's really fun. But you could also really save yourself the money and grab a few things from the kitchen (wooden spoons, plastic, regular silverware, etc) and a deck of cards.....stuff everyone already has, and find the instructions online. It's super easy.....deal 4 cards to everyone...keep passing cards until someone gets 4 of a kind. That person sneaks a spoon and everyone else grabs....person without a spoon loses (there, I saved you the Googling).

Fun, easy, fast moving game for all ages
Fun and simple card game to play with 7 and 10 year olds. Very colorful and very fast moving. Played on camping trip, rainy days indoors, and when we need a fully engaged activity.

Family game nights
Spoons is one of favourite games! It comes with 4 spoons but when we have bigger gatherings we pull out our silverware spoons too. We absolutely love this game! Comes with directions too. I ended up buying my niece and nephews this game too and they love it. Any age can play too as long as they can read numbers and follow directions. Our age ranges are 5-30+.
