Helpful, but be alert for the adhesive to give way
I was diagnosed with Bell's palsy a month ago, so I invested in this moisture chamber. I will say that it absolutely does its job as intended, as far as keeping my affected eye from drying out. However, be aware of a few things. First, keeping the moisture in can translate to "the clear surface wants to fog up". I found that anti-fog drops did a good job of reducing this issue. The other thing that is important to mention is that the adhesive that holds the sponge onto the clear plastic is NOT water-resistant. This means that if your affected eye is watering, something that was an issue for me while the Bell's palsy was at its worst, your tears are going to start to make the adhesive give way.My solution for this problem was to use school glue. I figured that school glue would be the least hazardous thing I could put near my eye, as it's intended for use by kids who are notorious for not using things according to instructions, lol. I didn't want to use anything that was going to create fumes or irritate my already-affected eye even more. The school glue did its job: It did not bother my eye, the sponge stayed in place once the glue dried, and even the moisture from tears, eyedrops, and the occasional fogging issue did not make the sponge come loose again.I would absolutely purchase this again, if needed, but with the foreknowledge that if this is needed for an eye that is having trouble, I will have to be on the lookout for how the moisture created by the eye is affecting the adhesive.Oh, and I was definitely able to wear this under a few different kinds of glasses (including wraparound protective clear lenses when I was in need of keeping drafts from drying out my eyes).

Helpful for Bell’s Palsy!
This moisture chamber provides relief from dry eye caused by Bell’s Palsy, which causes facial paralysis affecting the ability to blink or fully close the eyelid. It does fog up, but that is a welcome environment when you don’t want to touch your face in public to manually blink your eye with your finger. The description said 2-pack, the bag label said 2-pack, but it only contained one moisture chamber. Check your order when you receive it.

Not Translucent
I don’t know why I thought these would be slightly opaque, but they’re not at all. They’re 100% transparent. If that’s what you’re looking for, they’re perfect quality. Comfortable, a good size, snug against the face. The seller was very kind, too. I feel bad even saying anything against them, but I want to make sure nobody else buys these with the same misconception I had.

They do meet the need . . . but . . .
This type of patch was recommended by hubby's eye doctor. It did meet the need to lock in moisture, and he is able to still get up during the night and see, but the elastic stretches out way to fast so it comes off easy. We've tied it and it works for a while, but then we now find it is about to snap So we will have to look for another one, or re-buy this one. He has to have this protection during the night as he sleeps. It would be WONDERFUL if the band could be adjustable!

This eye patch is the clear choice!
I have an ongoing issue with my left eye, which has a lid that is not fully there, getting irritated for various reasons. It is also my "reading" eye, as when I had cataract surgery on both eyes, my doctor made the left nearsighted and my right eye farsighted. When my left eye gets really uncomfortable and drops don't really help, the only thing I have been able to do is to put bandage patch on it. That helps, but during the day when I'm working (I'm an editor), I can't use it. Now that I have the clear eye patch, this won't be a problem.

Bells palsy game changer!
I ve spent a lot of time searching for items, buying different items after getting diagnosed with bells palsy recenty and the struggle to manage the one eye that wont blink and all the dry eye problems. This inexpensive patch allows me to go about my day with or without eye glasses oor sunglasses and i went from having to put drops in my eye evry 5 mins to only a few times a day!! It has made such a huge differnce in the comfort of my eye! I can watch tv, work on my computer... it isnt something that will last long.. but i am carefull with it, too bad the dr’s didnt give this on day one as i suffered a lot the first week with the eye!! HIGHLY RECOMEND!

Cheap product that loses elasticity & won’t stay on face
The string is very cheap & wore literally one day and it now falls and stretches way to fast. It worked when it was snug. Downside was it fogs up but you can beat that with anti-fog. Have a black eye patch with an adjustable string at night that doesn’t lose elasticity. Expected similar from this but very cheap that after 1 day it has lost elasticity to stay on my face. If the string was better this would be a good product for my Bells Palsy.

Read Below
I order the Large and I don’t know if any one else has to do this but I have to center up the string band in the back and come in 1/4-1/2 inch tie not to tighten it up a little. I have to wear mine every evening with medication in my eye. After a week or two the eye patch starts coming off of the seal that holds it on there I’ve tried glue but eventually the sponge starts getting hard. Good thing they come in a pack of two. LOL 😆 After I glue the 2nd one is when I order another pack.I did not read the REVIEWS MY WIFE DID SHE WAS TAKING CARE OF ALL MY needs when I got home from the Hospital from Lymphoma.
