instructions are useless. Tells you how to remove old radio but not how the parts go together.. does not fit as listed nothing like it

I was unsure on if I should buy this radio adapter based on others reviews and experiences and I can honestly say they just didn’t read instructions. Product feels perfectly sturdy. For a radio cage the build quality is acceptable. My Kenwood single din fit perfectly. And it all came together easily. Instructions were exactly what I needed to attain a perfect oem like fit. If you have the skills to remove your oem radio from your vehicle you can make this kit work, just follow the instructions. This kit is perfect for the average diy install.

Being this kit covered many vehicles i knew id have to follow some directions about what tabs/hardware to remove for my application. All went well until fitting the radio into the trim. The trim was too narrow to fit the radio which is a very basic pioneer single din. I had to trim material off both sides on the inner edges to allow just enough space for the radio to slide in. Once I tackled that the rest was quick and easy. Not a bad product but expect to potentially have to modify a bit depending on your vehicle.

I guess the things I don't like have to do with the fact that you are having to cut away pieces of the install plates to fit your vehicle. The plastic is relatively tough, which is good, but you aren't going to just cut it away with a utility knife. You will want some sort of powered tool and a steady hand to keep the lines clean on the parts that are visible after install. I'm not sure what the company could do, but it is sort of annoying to have to either borrow or buy a tool to make a clean cut for a cheap plastic install kit. With that being said, once I made the cuts, it fit perfectly. Looked fine. The radio is in and secure. So with a little hassle, it did the job. I'd recommend it, just make sure you have some sort of dremel tool or other small bladed power tool to make the job faster and cleaner looking. A sharp razor tool could work, but if you make a mistake, well, it'll suck.

Functionally, this works great and I have had no issues with it since installation. When it comes though, it has TONS of tabs and stuff that are meant for other cars so you have to break a ton of plastic pieces off to set it up. I also had a small issue getting some tabs to go in the proper holes because the production was cheap and the holes had extra plastic in them. I had to use a small knife to cut away the little extra plastic so it would fit. If you want the cheapest option and don't mind using some pliers and a knife, this will work fine.

Worked like it should you have to read the paper and removed tabs so it works with your vehicle, but easy to install, the tabs ain’t to hard to break off clean. Looks a lot cleaner then just sitting in there.

Las dimensiones para el stereo no son las correctas, ningún stereo cabe, tuve que quebrar un pedazo para que entrara más que nada porque me urgía poner el stereo e iba a perder más tiempo en el trámite de la devolución. No lo recomiendo.
