Works exactly like the Dyson one, had no issues installing or for the machine to recognize we replaced the filter. Much more affordable! And most importantly, in stock since Dyson never carries there replacement filters anymore!

EDIT: I currently have the complimentary filter in that seller sent to me because of my initial unfavorable review. Before I got the replacement from seller, I had purchased a real verified Dyson filter. There is absolutely no difference in how the two work. I don't know why I thought that the filter that came with the unit was so much better, but if it truly was, the real Dyson replacement was not. I will continue with these to save money.EDIT: Giving customer service of seller an extra star (from 2 to 3). She just sent me another filter to try and said that she has contacted the factory about my complaint. I won’t be able to try the sent filter until my actual Dyson one that I purchased is ready to be changed. I’ll update then.It was the first filter replacement for my Dyson air cleaner and I notice a huge difference. The dust and odor are as high as before we had an air cleaner with original filter. We sleep with 3 dogs in our bedroom where we use it. It’s not worth the savings to have a product that doesn’t work for me. It was easy to install and it fits, but other than that, it’s doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. Will pay more and get a filter that works.
