Automatic Pop Up Instant Portable Outdoors Quick Cabana Beach Tent Sun Shelter

This was literally so simple to take out and set up- you just pull it out of the sleeve and it expands on it's own! It's really light, so if you have any breeze at all you will need to weigh it down. We got this to keep our two rambunctious golden retriever puppies (both about 35 lbs at this point maybe?) out of the sun for a trip to the beach. What was great is that since the frame of this is all one piece and is very flexible, nothing broke when they decided to use the inside of it as a thunderdome for a wrestling championship. They tumbled together inside that thing end over end down one side of the beach and back the other- it was really quite comical and looked like something out of a cartoon.Getting it back inside its storage sleeve is a whole different story though- it was impossible for me to do! I'm sure it can be done, but after a full day in the sun, an adult bevvy or two (or 5), and only devoting about 10 minutes to the project, it was impossible for me. You have to like, figure 8 the frame somehow, but it wanted to keep snapping open before I could stuff it back in the sleeve. I felt like I was following the instructions (not many things like this can outsmart me!) but still wasn't able to fit the folded-up shade back into its storage sleeve. I felt like if I maybe had 2 extra hands I could have held it tight in all the places it needed to be held so it could fit back into it's sleeve. But I remember getting it folded up, then having my husband hold up the sleeve and thinking to myself "yeah, that's never going to fit back in there". So either I was missing steps in the folding process, or it's like when you buy a comforter (that is folded by machine to fit into the zippered bag, only to never fit again because people don't have industrial textile folding machines at home....yet.)- either way, it has never gone back into its sleeve and will forever remain open until we eventually get rid of it.

Best customer service. I purchased this tent well before I needed it, in preparation for the summer months. When I finally got around to opening it, I discovered that the seam was coming apart at the top of the tent. I first contacted Amazon, but it was well past the return period, so I sent an email and pictures to iCorer. They responded to my email right away and sent me a new tent within a few days. Very impressive customer service. And the tent works great as well. Easy to set up and take down. Very effective for getting shade at the beach.

I'm heading to an event that will require an overnight under the stars. If you haven't done this before, you need to expect some dew on your sleeping bag, clothing, or whatever else you leave out that evening. For me, I also needed a way to prepare my camera gear out of minor rain or dew fall. This pop-up does the trick. As others have stated, opening is a breeze. Unzip the case, pull out the tent, and stand back! It even comes with small stakes if it rains. I did not have an issue putting the tent away. For me, it was about 15 seconds to get the unit into a small circle, and about 40 seconds to jam it into the case. If I had someone slide the case over as I held the compressed tent , I would cut that 45 seconds to about 15-30. Anyway, here's what I found:Pros:1. lightweight, easy to carry2. setup and teardown was quick (at least in my case.)3. small stakes included4. the rear of this pop up has a screen. It looks like there is not one in the photo but there is.5. the attached base would work well to stop some sand, or lay onto some grass.Cons: *(these are not the fault of the pop up - but worthy to mention)1. This pop up will NOT protect you completely in a rainstorm. It will keep your head and part of your body dry, and maybe some gear you are holding.2. This pop up is NOT a tent. an adult cannot stretch out length wise in this pop up.In a nutshell, this pop up exceeds my expectations. I certainly recommend it for sun cover and dew and/or mild rain cover to a limited degree.That's about it. I hope this helps in your purchasing decisions.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Despite the YouTube videos, I have not been able to fold it back down after using it the second time. I was able to do it well once, when I tested it. However, on our actual beach excursion, I could not get it closed even after pulling up a video on my cell phone. In fact, I may have bent the frame trying it so many times and I may have to just throw it away. It was easy enough to set up, and I liked having the thin bottom lining so we didn't have to sit on our beach towels. I did not feel it was sturdy enough to withstand the wind that day if I wandered too far away from it. The next day we set a cooler down inside, which made it feel much more secure. It was probably too small to put more than one chair inside. My visitors wanted to sit in the sun anyway, so I sat inside the tent with the cooler and our beach bag. There would not have been enough room for a second person as long as the cooler and beach bag were inside. If I can get it closed again, it will probably do nicely for my purposes. I live near the beach and I should be able to put it in my bike bag for a quick bike ride to the beach. It's still in my garage in it's fully open state, but I gave it a 3 assuming I can get it folded back up and use it for the purpose I described. The seller sent me several videos, as stated in the Amazon product info.UPDATE 5/30/16: We have finally mastered the fine art of folding it back up and getting it back into the carrying case -- including being able to zip up the case. It took him around 90 minutes before he figured out his system. Believe it or not, he said the best instructions were the ones sewn into the tent, although the second YouTube video helped a bit. Since we are able to fold it back up, it is perfect for our purpose. We successfully took it to the beach on our bicycles today. It fit very well in the saddlebag on his bike. We could fit the two of us inside lying down pretty comfortably, although we did not have much stuff with us. I will try to upload two pictures: one showing it on the beach and the other showing it folded back up on the bicycle. The seller contacted me immediately after my original review, and offered a refund or exchange, which we really appreciated. We are going to keep the tent and also post very positive seller feedback.

My kids love playing with tent so I bought this Automatic Pop Up from iCorer for them to play in it when we go to park. The size is pretty good when fully opened. It's at 65" x 59" x 43.5" and large enough for 2 toddlers to play inside with space for their toys as well. I really like the instant pop-up feature as it makes things so much easier when you already have a lot of things at hand, such as water, food...etc for the kids. Do watch out when you take the tent out of the bag because it really POPS UP right way the moment you remove it from carrying bag.The tent utilizes a coated fabric so it has can block out UV. There is a large mesh window in the lower back of the tent for ventilation. There is no hard metal/ sharp objects inside the tent at all so I feel pretty safe to let my kids playing inside. The tent is strong enough to hold itself even when there is strong wind blowing (however, it's still a fold-able/portable tent so I don't expect it can stand still if people try to push it around).It's a little trick to fold the tent the first time and it took me roughly 10 minutes to figure out how to do it. It's nice that there is another instruction sheet attached onto the carrying bag because I lost the instruction right after opening the package. The basic idea is to fold the tent in half and try to squeeze it into a circle shape and stuff it into the bag. It does get much easier the second time and I can do it without following the instruction sheet.

PROS:— easy to set up— pretty easy to take down— lightweight and wieldy - easy to carry— keeps the sun off better, and is cooler inside, than expectedCONS:— one of the stake loops ripped out within first couple hours of use, in only moderate wind— multiple cross-seams on the inside top of the tent are already straining and gapping within first day of useTIPS for USERS:— be very cautious and prepared before opening it at the beach or anywhere else with any wind! Hold it firmly and tightly when removing from carrying bag. Before opening the tent, find and hold the inside floor, and be ready to IMMEDIATELY step onto it (near the seams with the walls for best leverage) or to put other significant weight on it. Otherwise it will fly away.— I am 5’2” and average size, and I fit comfortably in there by myself. I would find it pretty uncomfortable to share with another person, even a child. Granted, I had a small camp chair on there, and I like a fair amount of personal space… but even without the chair, I feel it would be quite cramped for more than one person.SUGGESTIONS TO MANUFACTURER:— add air vents at the top, all the way around, like on beach umbrellas. Would help it be more stable in the wind.— include extra stakes, please. They’re small and thin, and sure to get lost quickly. It took some doing not to immediately lose several of them on my first day of use.

This pop up beach tent worked great. I have twin 3 yr old boys and taking time to set up a tent on the beach was not an option. I'd have one taking pieces and burying them while the other undid the work I already did while I went after his brother. This light weight easy to carry (had one of my boys carry it) tent pulls right out of the case and with a simple flick it's up. The kids filled the side pouches with sand as I put the stakes in and we were done. Our first day at the beach was really windy. The sand pouches kept the tent from going anywhere. It provided a nice little place to escape the sun for a few minutes. It's not huge so don't expect get a couple chairs in there like some tents advertise. But it did the job. Watch the videos for folding. And practice a few times before you go to the beach. It's tricky to fold at first, but once you know how it's a cinch. The video with the woman saying to fold it like a burrito was the most useful for me.

Very awesome tent for what it is. Packable, light and easy to carry. Didn't have any issues folding it back. Basically if you have those sun shields for your car that fold you can fold this up.It is a tight fit you can't put more than one chair in it and you can't really sit up inside with more than two people because of the way the tent narrows towards the top. But when it's two women and we were laying down it was perfect. You can put your stuff inside and weigh it down with a cooler and it was great. There's ventilation through the back but it's not adjustable... So it's not 100% private, but if you don't care then it's great. I believe there are some similar tent options that have a zip up vent. I kind of wish I got the one with the internal pockets. But this does have some outside pouches and we put our flip flops in them.Bottom lin is that this beats the heck out of trying to shove an umbrella in the sand or bringing a 15Lb pop up tent that needs four people to stand it up.It does blow in strong wind but it didn't affect the frame at least not when we used it. I believe if it did you could contact the manufacturer and they'll replace it.We've never stayed at the beach for more than a couple hours just cause it's hard to stay out in the heat without some reprieve. This pop up was great and we stayed at the beach midday til almost sunset. No burns, no overheating, no exposed food for the sea gulls to pick at. Overall happy with the purchase and performance.
