My Fluval external filter stopped pumping water. After determining that it was not air bound, and running it with the hoses disconnected (sitting in a sink), I determined that the pump was in fact not working. A replacement filter unit was about $180, a new power head over $100, I took a chance on this repair kit. It included a new rotor and pump impeller, the pump cover plate, and a new gasket. Noticeably NO instructions came with the small package. It frankly was not an issue. Grab the old impeller unit and pull it out then drop the new one in its place. Repaired unit works like new for about a tenth the cost. I noted reviews that the replacement arrived damaged due to being shipped in a soft envelope. The small packet containing the parts was shipped in an oversized box and arrived in great shape.

Our Fluval 306 was making horrible noises, even after cleaning the tank. My husband looked on YouTube an they said to replace the motor head, so I found this website and ordered the kit. Ends up, all we needed was to replace the washer, but now we also have the motor head for if or when that goes out.......

Great maintenance repair for my filter. I should have done it earlier. This has drastically improved the water flow my old filter.

SELLERS, STOP shipping these kits in a bubble wrap envelope! The IMPELLER FINS WILL BREAK when you do this. These kits are not cheap. This is the case with my order from Kens Fish. The new impeller arrived with a broken fin...smh. The part that I needed most was the impeller cover as the old one had worn down which caused the ceramic shaft to bust through the cover. I transfered the old impeller fins to the new impeller and my filter was back up and running. That is all.

I needed to improve the performance of our canister filter for a 30 gallon aquarium and this kit did the job. Item was well packed and shipped quickly. If you want to rebuild your canister filter versus buying a new one then use this kit.

I buy one of these kits every year to maintain my pump and keep it from leaking. Easy to install and works great.

Worked a treat. Did come with one of the fins on the propeller missing, but this doesn't seem to affect balance of the system. Got the 307 working again.

Parts fit perfectly. After having used the filter for little over year, it become somewhat noisy. This was due that the impeller shaft was worn out and the impeller body was rubbing on the motor well. New parts fixed this nicely. Shame the shaft is not stainless steel as in other filter motor assemblies; perhaps there is a reason? Would be nice to have the shaft available on its own as a replacement part. On the whole, this is a one great filter, highly recommend.

Es la segunda vez que los compro,pues cada,tres o cuatro años,empieza hacer ruido el rotor, por desgastes,cambias todo el pack,y filtro nuevo.
