Granddaughter loves this movie. Well worth the money!

I didn't know what I whether I'd like this movie or not. I love the original with Boris Karloff. But I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did. This is a great movie and I like it just as well as the original from when I was a kid. Me and my parents and my grandkids we all enjoyed it I recommend the movie. Arrived in good time and in good condition would buy from the seller again.

Love the movie! Great family fun and something you can watch over and over again and be able to find new things in it! It's now a Christmas tradition to watch it every year! Blu-ray picture is so crisp and clear!

My family absolutely loves the Grinch and I think this is my favorite Grinch movie. We watch them all year over and over and this is the cutest Grinch movie.

Enjoyable

I'll be straight, the original grinch always creeped me out as a kid, probably just the animation style, but nevertheless it was always kind of disturbing. Tried watching it as an adult with my own children, but it still hits me with a mild case of the heebie jeebies. The Jim Carey version was only better than the original because it had more meat to the story so to speak, but if you didn't come for the crude humor with a twist of nostalgia, then you'll probably walk away feeling like you wasted two hours of your holiday movie binge. That being said, I love that this movie is 100% family and 100% free of the creepy 2D grinch and the millions of tiny chaotic whos that give you an anxiety attack just watching them play with their Christmas toys. Makes you understand why maybe the grinch hates them so much, probably 53 years of anxiety and hearing loss. This movie gave you feels. If I didn't know coming into it that it was Benedict Cumberbatch, I probably wouldn't believe anybody who told me it was. There's lots of feeling, lots of solid characters, and genuine interactions that make them believable. Lots of people complain about the rapped version of the grinch song, but really, would they have been happy if the grinch popped out a cassette player and played the old one? No, they probably would have complained about the lack of originality. As for my family, the rap itself cracks my husband and I up every time we watch it. I'm happy to have a Grinch movie that doesn't make me cringe while slipping it into the DVD player every year. But hey, that's just me.

I purchased this movie for my nine year old Daughter. She loved it and I also found it a fun film. Lots of humour and a good script. 4k and audio quality very good.
