We have 2 large cats (6.5kg) & 2 small westie dogs. We had a problem with dogs eating huge amounts of cat litter & chomping on cat poo when they could. It took me a while to buy this product because it is rather expensive but I had become desperate. It is brilliant! We left the lid off for a week to let the cats get used to it & then the lid went on. The cats use it regularly, the dogs can’t get to any of the litter, it doesn’t smell at all & I love the fact the litter scoop sits inside & it’s really easy to clean. The dogs no longer smell of cat poo, I no longer have to clean up stray litter all over the place & it looks fabulous, like star wars meets pingu!!

Have spent some time researching litter trays that do the following: prevent the dog from eating cat poop, and prevent the cat from tracking litter all over the floor. The only other ones I found that looked good were quite a bit more expensive. This does both. Dog is a 20kg collie cross and he has tried from every angle to get access to the poop - he can't ! Can't get in the entrance or get the lid off). Cat does still get a few little specks of litter on the floor, but it's significantly less than before. Yes this litter tray is the biggest I've ever seen (check dimensions before you buy), but it looks quite cool and does the job for us. I have no problem getting the lid off to clean and keep the scoop inside the tray. Would recommend.

This was recommended to me by a friend, and I'm really glad I purchased it for my young cat. She had no trouble getting used to it and we have had little mess or accidents. It's easy to clean and contains smells fairly well. She is a squatter so wouldn't recommend for cats that aren't. A bit large and heavy but if you have the space it's definitely worth it, many compliments from visitors who didn't realise it was a potty, it's more of a design feature! Recommend getting the scooper with caddy which matches.

So, it’s pretty big, but it is genuinely amazing. My kitten pees standing up, and anything that has a pull out drawer is an absolute nightmare. This keeps literally everything contained. The walkway entrance/exit is above and beyond the best design I’ve ever seen to prevent tracking of litter. The smells are better contained, it’s easy to clean and is incredibly high quality. I was initially alarmed by its size, but he seems really happy and after a month of use I have zero regrets.

This igloo litter box looks absolutely fantastic - I purchased it because my dog was very interested in cat litter, so I was looking for something with 'restricted access'. Both of my cats (larger male is 5.5 kg) use it frequently without any issues. Pros: - looks fantastic, clean and aesthetical design - reduces litter tracing on the floor, but not completely (I have 2 long haired cats); I have another top entry litter box that is way better in keeping floor free of litter bits - dog can't snack on litter anymore Cons: - I think it is too expensive, even though it is made with good quality materials and it is sturdy, design has some major flaws - quite difficult to scoop the litter daily - the dome needs to be removed, it is quite heavy and awkward to grab and move around, and it takes a lot of space when you need to separate the dome from the base litter tray (I am ok to do it, but someone with reduced mobility or senior person would most likely struggle with this) - thorough cleaning of the igloo is the worst litter box cleaning experience, it is just big and awkward shape to clean and rinse (I place it in the tub, rinse, spray with pet friendly litter tray cleaner, gently scrub and rinse again), maybe if someone has more space it wouldn't be such a pain, if I had access to yard/garden I would just spray it with the garden hose, that would be easier. Overall I recommend for everyone who is looking specifically for clean, minimalistic look, but if you care about ease of use more than aesthetics any of 2 or 3 times cheaper top entry litter box would work just as good.

What a brilliant item im only sorry i didnt buy it earlier. It has stopped our dogs helping themselves to the litter tray. Its stopped tracks from the litter tray all over my furniture. Odour drastically reduced. Pleasant to look at. Suitable for multicat household. All our cats took to it immediately. Easy rinse. Easy clean. Im definately buying another.

Lo compré por diseño y espacioso pero le he tenido que quitar unos plásticos interiores porque si no el gato no cabía bien. Cuesta mucho de limpiar y manipular por su diseño y peso

We were on the verge of buying 2x Modkat XL (each at 4 times the cost of the Pidan) when we saw this this Litter Box on the Lightning Deal. Once we were happy with the measurements we purchased 2. It took our 2x cats (8 & 10) only 2 days to get used to them. Great design in that no urine gets trapped in the seal (a relief), the perfect solution for cats that pee high up, light and easy to remove the shell and no doubt easy to clean. Highly Recommend (even at full price).

Superbe litière qui camoufle mieux les odeurs. Il y a moins de litière par terre mais il en reste toujours quand même. Attention, ne convient pas aux grands chats malheureusement...

Such a well made item! Beautiful design. The cat isn't so happy as preferred an open tray but is using it thankfully. Kept the lid off at first. I tuck the scoop around the corner of the entrance so it doesn't get bumped off. Only suggestion would be to have one discrete hand grip at the back (so could grab the entrance and this) to make it easier to take the lid off as it's so smooth it's tricky currently.
