Out Front Bike Computer Combo Mount for Garmin Edge Gopro (200 500 510 520 800 810 820 1000 1030 Touring)

I bought this in order to mount both my Garmin 1030+ Computer and Lezyne 800XL front light directly to the stem clamp on my bike which has the added advantage of bringing the front light central on the bike and more forward on the handlebar to reduce the blind spot caused by the drop bars and brake levers. It also meant that I didn't have to worry about the light mounting interfering with the brake and gear cables when slung under the handlebar. Due to the length of the cycle-computer I needed to fit it with the supplied spacers, and due to concerns from other reviews had thought it might be a problem when torqued but didn't find this to be the case. As for the front light, all that was necessary was for me to buy the Lezyne Go-Pro mount adapter which was then swapped with the stock handlebar mount. Although the mount adapter required some force as the slots didn't quite match up. The downside is that as the light is now a permanent fixture on the bike that when charging you have to tilt the bike light up in order to get at the USB charge port at the rear and then remember to readjust it when you go out on it, no real problem though just an inconvenience. In use the mount is very sturdy and quiet, with no extra noise or bounce noted in standard road use and the computer half turn mount is comfortably snug when attaching the cycle computer. leaving me with no real concerns about how firm the connection is. For the moment the product does everything I required of it and I am happy with the purchase.

I like this mount, my Garmin 830 fits perfectly and is held very securely and it liberates space on the handlebars. Just a few points that mean to just misses the 5-Star rating for me: 1. The mounting screws supplied do not appear to be stainless steel, so I'll have to change them. 2. I'm not quite convinced about the plastic sleeves, I think I'll buy some shorter stainless steel screws and mount the unit direct to the head. 3. It would be better if the angle was set slightly more towards your face and not pointing at the sky so much. 3. No light bracket was supplied and I am not sure yet how to mount my Bontrager headlight, so I'll have to work on that one, this would further liberate handlebar space. 4. It would be nice if the supplied screws were a dark colour match the bracket. Please regard these criticisms as feedback for product improvement, overall it is a pretty good product, it's a shame its not made in the UK (carbon miles).

Quality product it fits solidly to the stem and is the correct length for my Garmin 1030.

Awful. Fell off afetr a few rides. As steel bolts, they have pulled out the thread so need a new stem. Avoid at all costs

I had an accident recently where I was knocked off my bike on a roundabout by a motorist who wasn't paying attention. Fortunately a friendly motorcyclist caught the incident on his helmet cam and supplied me the footage. This was invaluable in settling my claim with the drivers insurer. I decided to invest in my own action camera. I purchased a GoPro and needed a bike mount. I shopped around for a decent mount and this looked like it would fit my needs. The mount is solidly built and well finished. It took me 5 minutes to install. Remove the bottom 2 stem bolts fit the spacers and bolt through the mount and through the spacers onto the stem. Stem holds the handlebars solidly. Cables do have to go under the mount don't take them over the top as your turning circle will be massively reduced by restricted cables. GoPro mounted in its frame bolted into the mount with no problems and tightened enough to clamp it in place. I test rode with image stabilisation turned off at 1080p 30fps. The footage was rock solid, my cycling buddies thought that it was filmed with image stabilisation turned on. I don't have a garmin and need to get an adaptor for my giant neostrack to fit the computer mount but it looks decent. Highly recommend this mount, fantastic value for the quality. I will post a further review after longer testing.

Started off really well but on my 3rd ride I hit a pot hole and the shock was so abrupt my Garmin 1030 broke out of this mount breaking the black plastic insert in the picture. Luckily it was tethered so wasn’t damaged. Don’t know whether to buy another one or not

Great mount which has a good grip in the Garmin, looks sleek and would be an easy fit. Just make sure the measurements meet with your bike spec. My Moda Stretto obviously has a wide stem so I had to carefully extend the sides of the bolt opening in the mount with a drill to get a perfect straight fit on the bolts. Apart from that I am extremely happy with this product and will but another for my other bike

This is a nice piece of kit which looks nicer than the OEM mount, and also allows attaching a front light such as the Exposure via the GoPro mount. Knocked off a star because the bolts don’t seem to be high quality, and it’s awkward to access them with a torque wrench.
