I really didn't expect much from a drain strainer this cheap but I am amazed to find this looks and works just like I wanted! Immediately, I was impressed to find this strainer really does come in a dazzling stainless steel finish. Matching my bathroom taps and accents, this strainer has the same shiny chrome finish. It blends perfectly into the surrounding, adding a hint of class to the bathtub than the dull mat silver finishes found elsewhere in bathroom sets. More importantly, as shown, this fits just right in a bathroom drain measuring around 7.7cm in diameter. If you have a drain as low-profile as my bathtub, I am relieved to say this is designed to be a suitable fit. The stranger sits perfectly into the drain with his sides resting on the border without bobbling or turning. The strainer remains loose enough to quickly take off and empty when needed. I bought this for the main reason of reducing the amount of hair going down the drain and this works just about. The holes remain small enough to let enough water through while keeping out long and plentiful hair follicles. I only scepticism I have is about the longevity of this strainer. For something this cheap and extravagant shiny, I suspect there could be some rust or loss of colour. For now, however, this has not happened and I'll continue using it until I notice anything. Moreover, for the price, this wouldn't be the biggest loss. In all, this strainer brings tremendous value in being a unique fit, looking classy and being functional. I use this in the kitchen sink to catch and food and stop drain obstruction. This item is easy to clean and works exactly as intended.

The size is perfect for my bathtub

Five stars for functionality but -2 stars for how sharp the edges are. I gave myself a pretty gnarly cut on my finger trying to get these out of the packet. N.B. These only work for sinks with larger drains than normal. It’d be worth measuring your drain to see if this is going to be too big or not. Luckily this one fits in the little sink but not in my main one. But that’s not a fault of the product, it’s mine for not checking before I bought it.

The chrome sink strainers are good quality and look great. They rest over the bathroom sink plug hole.

Do what they say and cheap enough price. Fit perfectly into our kitchen sink and collects all the debris. Easy to lift out and empty into the bin.

They do catch all debris. They do not allow water to drain.

The edge is too thick and food gets stuck underneath

Highly polished stainless steel. Solid, easy to clean, good replacement to the strainer that came with the sink which would let little bits of food pass and get clogged easily.

I never told my daughter why I put this in the bathtub and she complained a lot of hair was caught in it, so it is working. I will assume not all hair is caught but most is at least.
