To me, the taste is TERRIBLE and the texture is really repulsive. I had never had lebkuchen before, and didn't know what to expect... I certainly won't be buying lebkuchen ever again. My recommendation is, if you are buying this, don't expect it to taste like regular chocolate cakes, cookies, etc... it is very different.
