Works great. Can use it when our son goes fishing and we can hear him much better than with a different set of walkie talkies. Great range - probably 1.5 blocks away in a neighborhood setting.

Nice walkies for the price. We've only used them once but so far so good.

I bought these for my granddaughter. We live on 15 acres. They work really well and charge pretty fast. And they are very clear. So if she is outside and needs someone inside she can talk on it and it reaches from the front of property to back. Bright yellow sturdy little hand held devices. Very easy to use and a great price. She is 12 so though she mostly uses as a toy it is definitely great for adult use as well: fishing, hunting…. need a safety device this could be used. I wish I had these as a child! The old ones we had never stayed charged nor did they reach past the front door!

I bought these for communication with my wife on our 15 acre property in the woods, primarily for alerting each other in the event of a bear sighting. My wife walks on the property alone and does not like to have me following her every step, so this is a simple alternative to keep in touch. I have a music and art studio some distance from the house, so this also provides a quick way to communicate. The units work perfectly, and are simple to operate. I leave them on all the time, and the batteries last for quite awhile. These are perfect for keeping an eye on elderly folks also, as well hiking, etc. I highly recommend them. Good range too.

I bought these just over a year ago and they’ve got light use. I used them today during a test run on my jet ski and the jet ski died in the harbor, fyi they were in a dry bag. I needed to contact my wife that was onshore to give her an update and I went to use my radio, after it was fully charged the night before, and it was dead. Luckily I don’t go offshore without a solid VHF radio to contact harbor patrol or vessel assist and I used that radio to call my wife, who I made sure before I left had her monitor channel 16 on her VHF radio as a back up. I was able to get my message to her so she didn’t worry because I knew it would take me an hour to get back to the dock getting towed in, when it should have only been a 10 minute ride in on a working ski. A simple radio with the words “professional” in the title should work professionally when you need it too. Another gripe is changing channels, so ridiculous on the round about way to do so. I should have just purchased the Baofeng two way radios back then when my old ones got stolen, lesson learned and brand new Baofeng radios on the way. Also Baofeng radios are about as simple as it gets to using them and they work great over a long distance.

Kids wanted walkie-talkies for play purposes. These are great for that purpose. In our suburban neighborhood, we can get ~2-3 miles of range, though sometimes we interfere with the local fast food restaurants' orders (want fries with that?!). The kids bike around and stay in contact with us and each other. When we take them to a campground, we get better range. Sound is generally clear but quality decreases as batteries drain. Recharging is pretty quick and they have long life thus far. (Had to buy the batteries & charging cable separately, which is not what is implied in the name of this product!!!) Easy enough to use & change channels, hail a user, etc. Kids are happy with them. Glad I bought & will buy again so the whole family can have one!
