Generations War for Cybertron: Siege Deluxe Class WFC-S9 Autobot Hound Action Figure

One of the things I most like about this figure, and all of the Siege figures I have so far, is that the joints are tight . So many previous lines had very loose, rather floppy joints, which kept them from holding a pose. I noticed that the Takara Tomy logo is now on the box along with the Hasbro logo, and I wonder if that has made a difference in some way. Anyway, Hound is a great design. He is easy enough to transform from one form to another, and, again, it just feels like a real step up in quality!

When it comes to Transformers toy and figurines, I've always been pretty disappointed throughout the years for many a reason. One of the biggest however, is the fact that most Transformer characters looked nothing like they appeared on the television cartoon or movies. Well, I can safely say that the War for Cybertron series of toys has colored me impressed! In the case of this figure, Hound looks almost exactly the way he was supposed to! To the colors and expression on his face, to the weapons and vehicle transformation, I have little to complain about! But if I did have to pick something that bothered me about this figure, it's a minor issue: the shotgun that Hound comes with is kinda finicky when it comes staying together in one piece, as well as how it fits in his hand. Other than that, I'm very happy with this toy! It's a great addition to anyone's collection of Transformers toys! Great job, Hasbro!

I love the G1-esque aspects of this figure, it's very close to the G1 cartoon model without being a copy of the original. From the square shoulders, cubic head sculpt and visible car parts in the robot mode, I just love the G1 aesthetic. In this re-imagined version of Hound, you have a fair amount of added poseability with a few range of motion restrictions. There's a new updated vehicle mode and the robot mode is unmistakeably G1 Hound from the Sunbow cartoon. Thanks to a nice amount of ankle tilt on the feet (through transformation), you are able to achieve some really nice leaning/kneeling action poses. Transformation is pretty simple, and the joints are nice and stiff for now.

I love everything about this toy. The vehicle mode looks good, the transformation is complex enough to be interesting but not so complex that it's frustrating (for an adult, mind you), and the robot is super cool. Very well articulated, with ankle articulation so that the robot can stand with a wide-legged stance while keeping its feet on the floor. Detailed paint applications. Well done, Hasbro, I'm looking enjoying and looking forward to more from the War for Cybertron line!

Missed out on the opportunity to get Siege TF when they were coming out. Wanted to expand my collection and was happy this was being sold at a decent price! No damages, box was packed with care and the merchandise was not broken! Thank you for having this item not only at a reasonable price, but packed with care too! Keep up the great work.

The live action Transformers movies had a Hound, but he was so drastically different (in both form and attitude) from the 80’s incarnation that he was “in name only”. This figure, however, completely crushes what a fan could want in a modern Hound toy at this scale. The paint is perfect. His sculpt is amazing and oozes personality, is really well constructed and articulated in all the ways you could want. His vehicle mode is a cool, futuristic/Cybertronian jeep that is the perfect update to his original form. I highly recommend him!

Overall, I love Transformers toys and figures, and the new War for Cybertron: Siege line, is full of winners. Hound, though, from his friendly G1 character who loved Earth, is one of my favorites and this toy does not disappoint. The toy has a fun transformation, and I love the fact that weapons have bios in the instructions, and data, too! This is a great little feature, and I thoroughly get a kick out of it. I can’t recommend this toy enough!

It's been a while since I bought anything from the current era of 'Generations' figures, but since I've decided to start work on a series of pre-war Transformers stop motions, I decided to check out the current siege line, with Hound being the first I purchased. I was far from disappointed, in fact I'd had the most fun with a new figure for a while. The proportions, paint scheme and mould detailing are excellent, the robot mode is well articulated and the transformation is fun and not frustrating in the slightest. The only negative is that the arms are somewhat visible in vehicle mode, other than that five out of five.

Wow! What a great Hound figure this is. An absolute joy to look at in both robot and Cybertronian Jeep mode. It's very solidly built and is perhaps my favourite of seven Siege figures I currently own.
