Reliable, simple heater for a great price.
I bought two of these 300w for a 75gallon freshwater tank and have had a 100w for a 10 gallon and Iโve had a very good experience with them. When researching heaters, it seems like no matter what brand or how much you spend, they can all quit at anytime or have a catastrophic malfunction and overheat. In my 2 years with the lower wattage heater, it has been very consistent and not had any fluctuations. Iโm confident in the 300w heaters in my 75gal and would purchase these heaters again

โ ๏ธWarning this Will not blow upโ ๏ธ great heater highly recommend read review.
Itโs been seven months since Iโve bought this heater itโs had been keeping the temperature pretty good and it even tho it does hover at 72-73.5 degrees Fahrenheit I have this way because my dojo pond loachโs have to have water below 80 degrees Fahrenheit or they will experience fungal infections and ich infections there a cold water fish used to cooler temperatures somewhat similar to gold fish which are actually a cold water fish and I have a albino mini pleco algae eater some people would call it measuring in at 5 inches last time I checked and the plecoโs like temperatures in the early 70โs and early 80โs 72-82 degrees Fahrenheit is a lil bit warmer but not too much so 72 is the appropriate temperature and the Coryโs like warmer temperatures as well hovering in at early 70โs to the early 80โs 72-82 degrees Fahrenheit so to keep everyone happy or at least satisfied I keep it at 72 degrees Fahrenheit and even this it does go up a few degrees thatโs fine as long as it doesnโt go below past 79 degrees Fahrenheit that fine but letโs get into the heart of the subject:how long will this cheap heater last?๐ค well for the last seven months itโs held up pretty well so Iโll eyeball it five eight years approximately not sure like I said โeyeballingโ it.subject2safety well itโs hasnโt made my tank become a boiling pot of loach food so thatโs a plus and it hasnโt burnt up,melted, exploded, glass or heater either or shattered, hasnโt,stopped working, cord or heater electrocuted the fish and hasnโt busted the tank which is 35 gallon bowfront aquarium to pieces like a ticking time bomb and thickness of this cheap heater well it seems to be the last time I put it in and also had felt it which I touched it because I was trying to see if it was working yes it is still working and I have three thermometers on the tank one inside of the tank and reads the temperature outside the tank itโs the one that it comes with and this is not gonna blow up in my hands or fish tank question NO itโs not gonna be so cheap thatโs itโs gonna be like a cracker this if you ask me is 4th or 5th in the top five list of best heaters on the aquariumist market 1st being eheim 2nd fluval 3rd being probably United because I searched it up and soโฆ.any way fourth being I guess yes orlushy brand and fifth I guess because my motherโs tetra fish heater didnโt stop working or melt Iโll put Tetra in at 5th place because well thatโs what Iโve SOMEWHAT have experience on anyway great heater highly recommended and will be buying another one of this or another variant if this brand this brand has really surprised me yetโฆ.but for now yes great heater Godbless!

Reliable Heater That Keeps Perfect Temperature โ Even in a Cold Garage
I bought this aquatic heater for my red-eared slider turtle, and it has been working great. It keeps the water at a perfect, consistent temperature, which is extremely important for turtle healthโespecially since my turtle is currently housed in a cold garage. Despite the colder environment, the heater maintains the set temperature without any fluctuations. It feels well-built and durable, which is important in a turtle tank where equipment can get bumped around. Installation was easy, and once set, it requires very little maintenance. Overall, this heater has been reliable, efficient, and gives me peace of mind knowing my turtle stays warm even in a colder space. Iโd definitely recommend it to anyone keeping a red-eared slider or other aquatic turtle.

Aquarium heater replacement
This size this power consumption aquarium heater itself are great , so far working perfectly, temperature control and adjustment are great , the price tag for the unit are very good compared to the other majors brand in the market, but the only one problem is the digital thermometer come with it , temperature show kind very tricky, set 80f but the thermometer show 85f! Then I have to buy a new thermometer

Shrimp tank approved!
This heater works great! It keeps the temperature steady, and I really like that itโs designed in a way that my shrimp canโt get into it and get hurt. Definitely a safe and reliable option for shrimp tanks.

Great heater
I bought this at the end of 2025 to replace mine that stopped working. It's a nice heater and stays within a degree of my setting. I have it set around 77 degrees...it has stayed at 77.5 or so...no big swings in temp. It's heating a 75 gallon tank. I do have a bubble bar underneath it to keep the heat circulated. I also run an aquaclear 110 hob filter, so my water is always moving. My experience is a good one.

Heats water way past where I set it. Very dangerous.
First on3 the glass was completely shattered. Ordered a replacement, got it installed, after it sat in the tank for 24 hours I turned it on and set to 81 F I just came home and the tank is at 87 F and the heater is still heating. Not good at all. Luckily I have no fish in there yet, but thanks for cooking all my beneficial bacteria. Appreciate that, Orlushy. I cant recommend buying something with such a wild swing in temperature, thats a great way to kill a tank. EDIT: After checking with other thermometers, it appears that the digital thermometer is also about 5 degrees off, so maybe a 3 degree swing in actual set temp, still not sure how I feel about this heater, and alot of air bubbles accumulating on the outside, it just feel so sketchy, haven't decided if I'll leave it in or skip the risk

Super great product at a very reasonable price.
Best heather I have bought and I have tried many. The temperature control look knob is easy to adjust and works smoothly. The overall quality is great. The glass casing his quite thick and sturdy. Easy to adjust and precise. The thermometer supplied with the heater is also excellent. Great deal, i highly recommend.

Works better than some expensive models
It explained in the ad, that it held the temperature well, but the temperature you set it to, might be off by a few degrees, and then you adjust it. I seldom see this kind of honesty in advertising. My problem was the lowest temperature you can set it for is 68 degree F. Which is fine, as that is the temperature I wanted. Unfortunately, it kept the temp between 69.5 and 70, so there was no way to lower it. But, hey, I knew the risk going in. I can live with 70, if I have to.

Heater is good, thermometer not accurate
The heater seems to be reliable after a months use. The digital thermometer however reads 10F too high. Seems well built, good value. *UPDATE* After 8 months use, the top of the heater started leaking at the power cords entry in the cap. Glass browned and at 9 months I stopped using it as thermostat wasn't reliable and electrical shorting became a serious concern.

Lasted 3.5 years, so I'd consider it average
Bought August 2020, it started malfunctioning April 2024. Noticed that the water was very hot and my snail was boiled. Temp read 89F with an external thermometer, when it was set to 76F. I only paid 27$ for it back then, so I got my value for my money.
