Exceptional TravelPro construction and design. Flexible design maximizes packing options.
As a frequent traveler, I've owned several types and luggage and rolling duffels were always one of the preferred types. You simply cannot beat a rolling duffle for the amount of clothing and gear you can pack PLUS all the various types of gear. And this Tpro Bold by TravelPro has taken flexibility to a new level with the design and construction of this duffel. First it is huge, and right at the allowed size for a checked bag. And relatively lightweight considering the size and construction. This bag is very well made with excellent materials that are somewhat waterproof. The zippers are large and heavy which should add life to them, plus they are somewhat protected from damage during the travel process. The wheels are also protected and even full with 50+ pounds, the bag rolls super easy and will stand on one end with ease. Plus there are several pockets that allow for much packing flexibility - two on the outside and a large see thru plastic one on the inside. Another unique feature is the way the large packing area is designed. There is a lightweight divider that can be zipped which divides the bag into two packing areas, or you can roll the liner up and snap it in place and have one giant packing area that is accessible from the zipper on top and or by opening the bag with the side zippers. Shoes and rain gear, etc, that you might want easy access to can be easily packed into the side or front outside pockets. There are a lot of packing options. Plus handles everywhere - on the top of the bag with the straps, and on the front and back. Plus a three position telescoping handle that is covered with a zipped flap to eliminate someone inadvertently grabbing the handle during the baggage handling process. And finally, while a bit more expensive than some bags available, this bag is a great value for the money considering the quality of construction, size and overall excellent design. I love this bag and I hope it lasts a very long time, which is what I predict.

Very user friendly bag. Can easily pack 50lbs. Nice to have two big storage areas.
I owned an airline bag like this for years until it finally was destroyed by the airlines. I liked the dual storage compartment so I gave this a try. Bag is very sturdy but light weight. Zippers work well, Good handles. GREAT price. Very happy to use this style of bag. Works great for winter travel with coats and extra cloths/shoes.

Love the bag. If you fill it - it's heavy
I replaced my previous duffel because the wheels failed and could not be replaced. This one is slightlight larger, which is both a blessing and a curse. If you have to carry it full, it's very heavy. Rolling is the way to go. I do wish I was able to lock every compartment with my travel locks, but not possible.

Huge Capacity
Due to its XL size, it's easy to fill & exceed airline weight limits. Perfect for my 3-week African glamping trip living out of tents on the Serengeti & Maasai Mara alongside the wildebeest's annual migration. Moving from camp to camp daily in the tour guides Toyota Land Cruiser it held up very well.

Worth Spending high price.
Great Travelling duffel luggage. Bought 2 of them. One from Amazon and other from another merchant (got low price from them and they had only one). I travelled from June to July/23. 22 hours long and connecting flight. I carried 80 pound in each luggage. They hold the weight very well. No tear or rip. It is a versatile luggage. it have top zipper to open and acces the entire space. It also have middle zipper which allows you to organize staff to and have cover to seperate the item and then you can load more stuff on top of the cover. both top and bottom have zippered compertment to store thin and essential items. Overall very well designed. I bought them 3 months ago. Hope they will last long.

This can't be a TravelPro! Not Durable!
I own a lot of TravelPro luggage. Typically their products are durable, reliable and are easy to use. Not so with this duffel bag that I've owned it for about a year and has made approximately 20 one way trips. It seemed well made when it originally arrived and I was happy to have it. However after the first trip the bag already had tears in it and slowly over time more have appeared. The zipper has been tearing away from the bag making it almost impossible to zip at this point. For my last trip as I was leaving I noticed that the trolley handle was loose. I went to tighten it up and when I removed the fabric I was shocked to see that both "legs" of the handle were "severed". I mean cut clean in two. I don't think the bag has faulty metal and the airlines can be rough on bags for certain but you have to build your product to account for this type of abuse. Contrast this with a similar older $30 duffel I purchased from my national warehouse club that has made all the same trips with this one and is still in great working condition, zips fine and has the handle intact. I also have other pieces from the TravelPro Bold series that I don't use as much right now. I've used the 22" carry-on for one trip to date and cosmetically it looks like its been on 10 trips. By far my worse luggage purchase ever.

Fantastic Gear Bag
This is a great bag for hauling gear. At 61 inches of total dimension for checked baggage and the rectangular shape, it’s maxed out for loading gear onto an airplane. The construction is rugged and intelligent with handles and access everywhere. The zippers are a little bit of a tough pull, but their heavy build makes them unlikely to fail. Load it up and get out there!

Bought this for Vacation as I always borrowed someone’s suitcase, didn’t want a hard suitcase nor did I find a soft one that really “stood out”. This one works awesome with ample storage and definitely without question “stands out” in busy airports, easy to locate. The quality is great, well constructed for a duffel bag.

Just returned from a 13-day trip to Europe: this brilliant suitcase held everything, easy roll, withstood airplanes and cruise ship handling. It’s a bit heavy but probably because it’s so sturdy!!

Use it for weekends to go to my daughters home.
